I am homeless living in Arkansas. Extreme bipolar disorder and mental illness. Draw SSDI less than 800$. 60 year woman living in camper shell on small truck w dog. Clark county rude and no help Garland county only offers old high rise apartment. My mental disability is getting worse. So cold on lake i had to get a room for couple nights. Now i so broke don't know how i will get thru the month you channel very informative. But i can't afford the fee. Hopeless and so tired of begging for small help

i love supportive housing i gave up section 8 garbage years ago it was way below my standards i love supportive housing it pays higher rent so i get to live in much better apt then people on section 8 i lived in 2 new apt in 2 different new buildings that were built a few days before i moved in the apt come with new stove new fridge central air conditionning elevator i also get free security money for every apt i move to i love living in new buildings just built recently no bugs and everything works i thank god for supportive housing

I lived in SF in the early 2000s and lived in tiny SRO.I know the system there pretty well I remember getting GA and other services but your right it takes while

@@Section8Consulting I just applied for GA last week. So hopefully that will go through soon. Also, question " When the waiting list is closed, am I able to fill out an application still?" I tried calling around so I can talk to a specialist in the county but everyone just keep running me in circles. Its so frustrating

The Challenge we have here is compliance. In California, where we have HUD, FEMA and MHSA funds and this is a brand new building and we have not a signal supportive service.

I just received this housing voucher from St. Joseph’s. I work in Santa Monica and am homeless , in Venice,CA .My question is will I be able to stay in that region. I mean they won’t be sending me clear across town from the west area. That would t make sense.
