@Section8Consulting How do you file a HUD complaint that is not discrimination allegation? For example, the property owner is in violation of a HUD regulation that is listed in the CFR (Code of Federal Regulation).

She lived in an apt with her adult daughter who was on her voucher and on the lease that they just signed for a year. Can her daughter take over her section 8 & when does she have to report it?

I deal with the housing and hra office. I had to move all of my stuff out of my apartment due to a recertification that was a done after I have lived there for 6months. I explained to him 3 months after living there this was illegal.

I'd love to report my landlord. She has done nothing to the house. We've been here way too long, I know. She only fixes the HVAC and the pool. My A/C in July 2024 is $1300!! She won't get a new unit, even the unit is over 30 years old. She has said she was going to fix outlets and ceiling fans, then doesn't to anything. But, she better get her rent on time! She just raised the rent to $2495.

I applied at a apt that does low income for some of there attendees and regular rents , the new landlord started in April and has never done a low income part of his apt complex yet I'm his first and is at a loss on how it works , and he trying hard to get me in within 5 days what does he need to do to learn and find out about this and is there something i need to do I never done this either until now i beecame a Senior and my imcome is my retirement $975.00 a month

My city is encouraging homeowners to build ADUs and DADUs with eased regulations and free inspections and permits. There should be a way for owner occupied homes to get grants or low interest loans specifically build new ADUs and DADUs to rent to people who have section 8 vouchers.

A county said they "don't participate in that program". But I find out by accident they are offering 2-houses in partnership with Habitat For Humanity and County other Org. under different name "Workforce Homebuyer Program" with exact requirements; and saying on two new holms (set for fall/2024--Summer/2025) "must participate in 1-year" on-site house "remodel" and "build" (two cities, two counties) is it the same Program or something illegal? Because, says must meet Home owner classes area Low-income etc., did she lie as Director? Because in my current city one mentioned is offered but last year after publicity city failed to deliver on First shelter for homeless 76-units as Shangri-La Comp. 3rd-party builder stopped remodel, didn't come to court, and ran-off with the $24.6M!

wow COC sounds way better this is what I need! I never knew about this. I am in MARYLAND do you have information on how to apply for COC please for my state am I supposed to go to the HUD office and do they close and open their list ? My situation is such a headache for me right now . I was selected for a voucher through HOC however my housing specialist denied me saying that im not homeless and I dont have a disability. Which he lied about because I gave him documentation and i was homeless and still am. I was living in an airbnb room not on a lease homeless no job escaping from an abusive home. I ended up getting kicked out of that place now im in a shelter and I need help. I did go back and update my HOC application so I guess which ever comes first. I was put out on street owed no rent during covid 16 years for his son and girlfriend have pictures and at the time took over a barbershop slept there and have no home yet just lost my business he doubled rent Debbie's harborbarbershop in Hingham I'm 60 and I've paid my taxes bills and I am not a candidate for anything I've done wrong and have no where to go got an offer from a client and cannot even get raft to let us fill out application I work hard and I can't get shit but the losers get everything I don't know how to prove that I have no where to go
