this jb weld high heat works,, after u get this on 24 hrs add regular jb weld over the top n build up a thick area of jb weld

I used JB weld steel stick putty to patch my dads exhaust leak on his Catalitic Converter I was actually surprised It held up for over 3 years He recently sold that Ford As far as i know its still holding up

this is the fix you use if you can't be bothered to spend more than 30 seconds on it before passing the vehicle off to be someone else's problem. he could have taken the clamp off and used exhaust tape but jb welding over the clamp will not last more than a few bounces down the road.

It still has exhaust leaks you can tell from the before and after it should be more quieter and that clamp is the wrong one the repair won't last long

Yah I had this same problem I took it to the shop and now my car sound much better the jb don’t always work exactly and it made my car smell funny underneath then I added the wrap so that could be why I smelled something too same all the hassle I took it to the shop 💯

I would have removed the clamp and then use the sealant. Let it cure then put the clamp on over it, torque to spec so you dont crush the pipe.

Your exhaust needs replaced. You can't fix those things , they need replaced with new . There is options for lower costs. You have to find the deals.

At the 23 second mark, this product says 1000 degrees Celsius or 538 Fahrenheit. WHAT??? 1000 degrees Celsius equals 1832 Fahrenheit. They literally switched them around!! 1000 Fahrenheit is 538 Celsius.

From what I've read and seen on the internet (and it was a lot) JB Weld will melt right off anything on or before the catalytic converter, but it's just fine for something like this in the video. There is something that will work called furnace cement. Clean the area well and make sure it's got something to bite to.

@@hamzaabdul4981 yes, I forgot to torque the o2 sensor. Went to harbor freight and bought a torque wrench and torque it to 35 ft pounds and it doesn’t leak anymore.

Just have someone cut the ends off the headers and fab some exhaust pipe that fits inside the header and weld it no leaks until the header rots off

I use muffler cement in a big 16oz tube for $10 bucks. I apply it maybe every oil change, it takes like 3 minutes to do but I need to actually change out my muffler 😂

I used a similar JB Weld paste product plus the jb weld exhaust wrap on a pretty decent size exhaust leak on a ford e350 shuttle bus! It’s still holding hard as a rock even after a trip across Canada!!
