I've been running these gloves since day 3 and they are soooo crazy. Incredibly helpful to keep enemies out of your face and the cast speed reduction really isn't that bad if you counter it on your gear :D

you can use unleash support in the spark links to compensate for the slight electrocute threshold nerf, since it frontloads a ton of damage. i have a video on my channel going over all the ways the patch notes buff (or nerf) the build and in general i think we are stronger post patch. electrocute nerf is very slight and we still use the gloves.

i swapped from scouring winds to force of will (only have 6 ascendancy points at the moment) and it is helping! wouldn’t hurt for some more mana/regen tho :)

The electro cute gloves feel so fkin good. It feels like it's easier to electro cute bosses than it was to freeze them but it might be just because coz I followed up with a cold snap reducing the time they were frozen for. Does lightning exposure not get applied by anything because the glove is converting it to electrocute? I dont see any debuff on enemies. Great guide though, feeling very strong.

if your lightning exposure is not applying, its because you dont have enough damage on the skill that is trying to apply it. also make sure you curse first, because it makes it ALOT easier for the skill to then apply exposure

Did i miss when you talk about defense but how do you not die all the time with 1.5k life and no armour? Is block chance really just that good? And as i was typing this i remembered you talked about damage taken from mana before life 😂. Still this build seems more on the squishy side. Can you electrocute bosses btw?

​@anime.princess nice I'll def be switching to this for maps but rn I use energy shield/armor in the acts and its so comfy. Kinda feels like leveling cheat code. I can facetank for decently long and setup huge dps windows with spark, flamewall, mana tempest, frostbomb, and conductivity (yes I manually cast all of that until I get a blasphemy setup) but it actually just deletes most bosses in 1-3 phases and I don't mind all the buttons. I'm just scared to go to pure es and feel way less tanks until higher investment but with the electrocute it should be fine or even better. Stun the boss and then setup for free 5 second dps sounds kinda nutty. Preciate the build 👍

What's the point to leveling up Archmage by using Lightning mastery? I don't see any stats differences.

There are breakpoints where u get more dmg with levels, and this helps u hit the breakpoint earlier. Depending on your gem level u may not need it correct

Can you help me with lightning exposure? I have my orb of storms linked with lightning exposure, conduction & strip-away but I can't see any exposure except shock & electrocution on mobs or rares or bosses. Is it because my spark does shock first and orb just can't apply shock of bigger magnitude to apply exposure? or I something missing?

Try dropping strip away for controlled destruction see if that helps

i dont get how every build i watch works fine until i spec to it and i get 1 hit and die ona t1 map, with average res an d45% chaos res ,1.2k life, 1.1k shield, and 1.2k mana

copied your build and i suck, die frequently even with shield and decent res, i dont see my char shocking twice and use kirkitos gloves, and the ascendancy node,how come you dont take "increase shock chance" on the board? and how much mana do we need to changeto MoM

if you enjoy the playstyle of other lightning skills feel free to swap it into the tree. i could definitely give u personalized adjustments to get this optimized for a different lightning skill. I think spark feels by far the most comfy to play so im suggesting this but at the end of the day its preference.

I had the same problem, but it was because of hardcore bots spamming and managing the market. Time to time you see those gloves priced lile 1 to 3 ex, but thats not real, idk why but Im sure is some kind of method of market manipulation. You just need to give up on that and buy at real price, 9 ex in my case with 19 dex and 13 less cast speed.

The flat fire is very low so I wouldn’t count on this interaction working for Long if it does. Devs tweeted they don’t want triggers to work from low dmg hits
