This edit really exemplifies Shinobu's character as a whole, like a graceful goddess who's helping the vulnerable as she fits into the whole butterfly aesthetic. For a few moments, the bright purple darkens as her graceful smile becomes distorted, showing the anger and grief she's holding in all this time.

Omg I just noticed, kanae (shinobus sister) had that drop effect where she was a bit desaturated, and then if you slow it down at the very end shinobu also ends up having that same effect because she dies to douma in the manga 😭
