Contessa 26 Refit ep. 23 - Simple Tiller Wrap and Dinghy Bridle

Documenting the refit of a 1975 Contessa 26 - J.J. Taylor build. Not an instructional video; recording for my own reference.
In this episode I install a simple wrap on the tiller and make a simple towing bridle for an inflatable dinghy.

Thanks for the excellent content on fixing the boat and shed build. I'm wondering if connecting the bridle the transom of the dingy will cause it to wonder back and forth more than if you tow from the two bow rings. I've seen three point connections where the third is a slack safety line to the center bow ring. Appreciate the attention to detail and the thought you put into each upgrade. All the best for 2022!

Thanks for the feedback. The dinghy shouldn’t wander due to threading the lines through the d-rings up front, but the majority of the stress is still applied to the wood transom.
