That weird story about the four men and the dog on his lawn takes on a whole 'nother dimension when you grew up down the street and have actually seen his lawn. (Back before he ran for president, the front of his house was open to view and in high school we kids found it fascinating to drive by there and see an off-duty police officer parked on the adjacent street, something we'd never seen before.) SNL's political stuff was funny back then because they satirized everyone - no matter their political party. And it was hilarious, and not about scoring political points for the politically correct or liberal crowd. Nowadays, SNL literally has cut a huge segment of their older / Babyboomers audience out by the mean-spirited, incredibly partisan crapola they put out out nowadays! I quit watching it years ago!
