This is also one of my favorite songs, and if you wanna know of a really good and high quality cover, I highly suggest The Noble Demon's cover of this song. She does other Pikmin songs as well, and all are great

What exactly is an "arystal"? :0 I've always been fascinated by that sound in Pikmin's music but I was never able to fimd a name to it, but I can't seem to find answer to that particular instrument either...

"Arystal" is the name of a patch on the Kurzweil K2500, its a layered flute, choir, and metal clank sound, built similarly to the Roland D-50's "Fantasia" patch Fantasia was a really popular sound, it often made it onto a lot of newer synths under the name "Crystal"
