100* day. For the record, I'm 54yrs old and 6'4" tall/ 254 lbs. This is a little 18hp kart engine that is getting tired with a wobbly piston in the cylinder but it's still working well with good power for the moment. Just dialing in the kart and getting it ready for more power when I rebuild the KT100 into a big-bore and possibly methanol conversion in the near future. The slow hairpins drop me well under the 9800rpm powerband (7600 coming out of the infeild left hairpin) which really takes me forever to get back into the band (9800-14,500). Im running an 11t/89t gear and doing 14,400 on high rpm recall- I one big heavy dude,lol
Takes at least the 4min mark for the tires and motor to get heat into them and then add enough fuel into the carb jet. It leaned out fast since it was a hot day and I ended up turning the low side all they was to 6 1/2 turns with the high side at 1/4. Next run I put the hi at 3/8 and was still 5 turns out on the low. EGT got to 1836* even with that much fuel.
