LOVE this! Always wondered what that odd sudden-stab-in-the-gut outcry is so popular in vintage Latin music. The back-ups do it here. I could be wrong, but I think it is probably meant to represent the sound the singer would make if they stuck... something else... into you (assuming you are the attractive woman they are singing to/about). I suspect the sound, in songs, is often accompanied by a movement of the hips by the singer and/or dancer(s).
