This is one of the greatest pieces of music ever compiled. And there should really be an emphasis on 'music' because you just don't see anyone trying to create music masterpieces anymore. You could write a catchy chorus and make millions, or you could write something as beautiful as this and really achieve a sense of accomplishment. Forget what genre of music you hail allegiance to and support musical genius when you see it.

right. Its like a melodic death metal song can't have a progressive song structure, or progressive songs cant have melodic death influences or anyhting. The metal community is ridiculous with classification.

Diego Swine Because the climax is the beautiful chord progression that is played repeatedly and with almost infinite variance, soloed over by drums and guitars before laid to rest with the concluding three piano chords. Insane musical imagery and tonal symbolic captured with such perfection that most of us composers can only dream about. The following part is the only thing that feels out of place in this song: a sort of transition to the second song instead of an integral part of this composition. The feel, the aesthetics and the pace just feels out of place here.
@JouniK8610 жыл бұрын
Jouni Koskela Or alternatively, because the track is titled "A Path to Enlightenment", maybe that final keyboard passage serves as the imagery of reaching that enlightenment upon completing "the path". In terms of emotional charge, it works.

🤔Bit off topic, but wonder if consciousness is beyond experience, or if it's another aspect manifesting within experience experiencing subjective experience.
@dreammaniac4 жыл бұрын
Consciousness is everything. All that you perceive, all that you think and feel is because you are conscious of it. If there is no consciousness there is nothing. Further too, you are not your body, your mind or whoever you think you are. Even that is perceived by the consciousness that you really are. The same consciousness I am. That's why all true religions say that all is one. For a good intro to this way of looking at life (the correct/true one I must, impopularly, say), read The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. Available for free as a pdf on google if you cant pay for it. 😊
