I took pictures of the Perseids meteor shower on the night of August 11th to 12th. Unfortunately, the Perseids reach their peak here in Germany in the middle of the day. However, you could already see numerous shooting stars that night.
In addition, the Starlink satellites launched on Saturday could still be seen very closely lined up in the starry sky (2:07 minutes).

Random thought. This Starlink thing, have we stopped and imagined how it will affect the night sky with 40 000 satellites around the planet in a perfect pattern? I don't think it is cool.... It will forever ruin the natural feel of the night sky! Awesome video though, stay awesome everyone.

You should consider sticking to the "childhood" explanation lol Meteors are a figment of the human imagination. Mankind has long been trying to redefine this world to fit the narrative of a spontaneous origin for life, but reality paints a different picture......so yea, shooting stars sounds more accurate lol

yes, I did too, and most people still do. Until I was taught the different and what they really are, I still did. I'm in Milwaukee WI, and last Saturday watching the moon and mars rise up. A meteor shot across our view, looked like it was going straight down 27th street. I really like the ones that burn bright orange yellow color and you can see it tumble as they come really close. Almost like they are going to hit the earth.

Nice. US here. I’ve seen quite a few over the past week or so. About 20% of them being fairly impressive burns. Some that were as bright as Jupiter, and a small handful even brighter than Jupiter. But unfortunately none that had much for color. Anyway, this video was very enjoyable to see. The time lapse captures were especially fascinating to me, as was that big green burn. Thanks for sharing, and hopefully there will be more to come from you. Thanks for the reply, too. Much appreciated. Keep up the good work!

Kann man starlink jede Nacht sehen?
@LindemannFilmFotoDrohne
@LindemannFilmFotoDrohne 4 жыл бұрын
