You want to know something that can make the perseverance soul even better. Don't worry, I not lieing to you, since I've done it before. Ok, so Perseverance can actually heal you. All you need to to fight a character that deals KR. If you just only touch any attack that does KR for a 1 or 2 frames ( the lower the frames touched, the better), you will be healed about 1 HP. Of course, if your in it for about 2 frames, you will not heal any HP, but you also won't lose any. How this works is your defense is higher than the damage they deal, so the game thinks the attack does negative damage, healing you. KR ignores your defense and instead, directly poisons you. So touching an attack for a single frame will cause your character to heal 1 or 2 point(s) of damage because the base attack heals you 3 HP (if they do 1 damage), and the KR is applied once per frame. So when you get healed that 3, you have 3 frames (or a 20th of a second) to get out of the attack before you actually start taking damage. This only works against characters who only do 1 point of damage though and is very difficult to pull off. However, it is nice to know your being healed by the Sans when they hit you. On another note, don't try this at one HP. The game applies defense, but if your already basically dead, then the game will screw you over and just kill you instead With this in mind, I tend to do this with my Dusttale Frisk since I found 2 invincibility glitches with them. (Also everything I said above is without the torn notebook. How defense works is for every 10 defense you have, you negate 1 damage. 30 defense on someone who does 1 damage is -2 damage. Torn notebook give an extra 10 defense!)

@@SamSnowy ok. Dusttale Frisk starts off with 2 items when you use them. So, when you use Kindness on it. Instead of it giving you an item every 30 seconds and 2 to start, it gives you 4 items at the start and no bonuses.

i'm more of a kindness guy when it comes to souls but i'm glad people are realizing determination isnt the best soul (ps kindness is a great support soul if you drop your items and people pick it up)
