For this special adventure in Yazd, Iran, I’m taking you to see how they make the most famous falooda in the city! Come with me as we explore a falooda factory in Yazd, Iran!
There are three types of falooda in Iran, and this version is from Yazd. Falooda is a dessert you’ll find throughout the Middle East and South Asia, and contains vermicelli noodles, rose water, and other ingredients like condensed milk, sugar, fruit, ice, and more. Everyone makes it a little different!

This was different from the falooda I was used to in India and Pakistan. In their basement, we saw how they make their noodles using wheat starch. They took sugar water, ice, rose water, noodles.
The rose in the falooda was so good. It was silky and refreshing, especially with the heat outside!
Because this is a falooda factory, they sell directly to people who then re-sell it. Back in the basement, the wheat starch was almost ready to become noodles. They strain it to become thin, soft noodles, and then, they add it to cold water to make them harden.
The noodles aren’t great by themselves, because they’re bland without the rose and sugar. But it was so nice that they wanted me to try it!
On our way to our hotel, we drove through Yazd. There are mountains and deserts nearby, and the city itself has lots of short buildings. At the hotel, they gave us some berry juice as a welcome drink. In the back, they have some gardens and saw some macaws there!
There’s a restaurant there as well. And above it all, there are lots of rooms! I had a massive room with a TV and queen-sized bed, and a relaxing sitting area.
Where have you been?

David: what can I say? SHORT but SWEET. The dessert reminds me of something similar to what they make in Trinidad called sawine pronounced "say wine", with noodles and milk. I am still amazed by the beautiful buildings there and the fact that the place is so clean as far as I can see. It's always interesting to see how something is made so that people can appreciate it's value. Nice job. Waiting to see what's next. By now, you are probably in Iraq, I guess, so take care and be safe 🙏🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦

It should be written and pronounced “Paaloudeh”. But many of our original Persian words that started with the letter “P” changed to “F” due to Arab invasion.

Azerbaijanis in Iran are Turks. They identify themselves as "Turks" and nothing else. Over the past millennium, the territory of today's “so-called” Iran was ruled by Turkic dynasties starting from the Ghaznavids, Seljuks, Timurids, Safavids, Nader Shah’s Afsharid dynasty, and ending with the Qajar’s. By the early 20th century, the Persian Pahlavi dynasty stole power from the Turks with the help of European powers, mainly Britain. Until that time there had never been a country called Iran. Since that day the Persian nationalists have been discriminating against Azerbaijani Turks and other minorities. Azerbaijani Turks in Iran are not a minority, but a majority. The Iranian current ayatollah mullah regime is systematically assimilating them. In most cases, the Persian neo-Nazis do not even recognize the Turkish identity of Azerbaijanis, calling them an Iranian fake "Azeri" minority just speaking Turkish or a hybrid mix of Iranians with Mongols. They openly insult the Turks, denying their ethnicity. This is the official state policy towards the Azerbaijani Turks in Iran. There are over 40 million Turks that live in Iran, but they don't even have the schools in Turkish language. The regime persecutes every Turk who demands a school or any other basic human right. The Persians are using the fanatical sect of Shia Islam to cover-up their ultra-nationalist pan-Farsist chauvinist agenda and oppress other ethnic groups. This ideology has nothing to do with the religion of Islam, but they call the state an Islamic republic. Iran is not an Islamic republic, but a Persian national kleptocracy. They actively promote the Persian neo-Nazi ideology of Aryan race supremacy.

The word Azar in Persian means fire and badegan means protectors so Azar Baijan basically means the fire protectors which fire the ancient zoroastrian temple which has been burning for 3 thousands years and our first civilization in this region dates back to some what 5000 years BC We have been around for years and all that you see and beyond are ours. The Iranians . That includes your newly established country of Azarbaijan which is a stolen province of Iran by USSR don't rewrite history for your self.
