The correct Persian word to say without is actually " bi ( pronounced like "bee" )" therefore in classic Persian literature you can hardly / never come across " bedoné "which is an Arabic loanword. accordingly for the foreigners who intend to learn classic Persian need to know that the " modern colloquial persian" compared to Classic Persian seems to be quite corrupted in terms of vocabulary , morphology as well as syntax .

You are right Majid jan, but I have said it many times that I teach the modern contemporary spoken Persian, the language in use for coversations in Iran at the moment. How the language develpos itself through time is out of my control, I cannot change it as I am not teaching in Iran and to the Iranians. Who knows, perhaps in the future modifications will be applied in the education system in Iran and gradually we will begin to use more original Persian words instead of loan words in our daily language. آقا مجید گرامی، کارهای شما سال هاست که کمک زیادی می کنه در یاد گرفتن زبان فارسی. این بخشی که حالا شروع کرده اید یکی از لازم ترین بخش ها برای آموزش هست یعنی واژه ها و عبارت هایی که با اون ها می شه چمله ها رو به هم ربط داد و یک متن درست و نه چندان ساده نوشت. آوردن مثال هم مثل همیشه مفیده. خیلی سپاسگزارم و خواهشم این هست که به همین شکل ادامه بدین به خصوص این مقوله رو مثل هرچند ... منتها، در صورتی که ، به محض این که ، با این حال و ... سپاس دوباره. کارهای شما بسیار مفید هستند. پایدار باشید و پرانرژی.

the knowledge of Arabic will not help you if you want to learn correct Classic Persian literature . Persian is not related to Arabic at all , there are some loan words in the modern colloquial Persian but the correct Grammar of Persian is far from Arabic .

@@Jay_in_Japan Using a lot of arabic words in contemporary persian is according to someone's personal taste, education background or one's religious convictions , the truth is after the revolution the Islamic regime wanted to remove Persian entirely since they saw persian as a Pagan language and an obstacle to fully Islamifying the country , the regime has set up a scheme to undermine Persian by using many arabic words and grammar in state media and formal education system , however this conflict between Persian and Arabic language has been going on for over 1400 years since Iran was invaded by the Arabs , In Iran the epic book of "Shahnameh " which is written ( 1000 AD) in almost pure persian is considered a symbol of resistance against Arabification of Iran . my point is many Iranians do still feel offended if someone compare Persian to Arabic .

I agree. I speak Arabic and I've studied many other languages and I think Persian is certainly the easiest I've studied. Ofc there are many differences but from a vocabulary perspective there is just so much
