Did you boil the rice then drain it after some time then put the rice back in with just oil? You missed a couple steps here

Yes, the rice gets par-boiled and drained first, before adding it to the pot with the oil.

Doesn’t matter just cover the rice and boil. Saffron wise just grind some up and add a few mill of hot water Don’t over think it 👌

Do you leave it soaking in water before cooking it?

@@daytona110 the exact amount doesn’t matter because it gets drained off. I just fill the pot about 2/3 full.
