I'm a noob and I've used this strat a few times now. 16 pop, leave 2 on berries and two on wood at original camp, loom then send 12 to build. Leaves two spare to build at new tc with 10 garrisoned still. Click fuedal, archery range, wood and gold. Build archers to clean up villagers if they haven't resigned! Thanks Morley love your guides 👍

I did this to a player once or twice back in the day - It was hilarious!

Tried doing this to the extreme AI. They "panicked" really hard and kept garrisoning and ungarrisoning. It was the easiest win of my life lol. Ie if you want to beat any AI difficulty, this is the build. Plus it gets you the "homeless" achievement!

Can you do this just to get a bit ahead if your new to the game, instead of destroying them

Isn't this a bit late? I mean they could go up to feudal by the time you arrive, or not?

@@MorleyGames1 No offense man, but why do you upload these types of videos then? There's nothing wrong with being a lower/intermediate ELO player, but if you're going to be creating strategy guides, you should really have a higher understanding of the game. Otherwise, you're just as likely to teach bad habits. If you can't answer "what if the opponent does this" in response to an opening, that should be a telltale sign you shouldn't be making these types of videos. It's sad to think how many bad habits and unsound strategies players have adopted from you. At one point this included me, until I realized your ELO was ~ 1300 (or lower at times). Even if someone's goal is to get to 1300 ELO, they shouldn't get there by trying to play more like a 1300 player. They would improve faster if they tried to play more like a high ELO player (following tested strategies, adapting, avoiding bad habits and mistakes, etc). Another example is if Magnus Carlsen coached someone in chess, odds are they will never play at as high of a level as he does (nor would they probably want to dedicate that much time). But they are much more likely to be a great player than someone that was coached by an intermediate player. You, Morley, are the intermediate player that is contributing to limiting some players' potential in this game. Make all the content you want, but please, save the strategies and builds for players that actually understand them.

@@fr3ak1shh that sounds kinda rude, there is a lot of effort in the video. I enjoyed it and learned from it (even though i am at the same elo, we even matched on the ladder). Apart from that, you learn the game by trying out stuff like this and see how it works out, not by trying to imitate pros. Morley is not at all limiting players potential but is rather contributing as a great source for people to learn more about the game. Keep up the good work!

can you do a vid on how to defend against this?

It’s pretty much the same as the tower rush defence tutorial. Just try and do your own thing and attack his main eco.

It's mostly not putting up with the douche. If you can, try to wall him off important spots, and let your own TC go down and place a new one if it goes down (repeat if necessary). don't repair, don't fight back. in a 1v1 game where he can't be slinged by someone else you know that the eco of the douching player is far behind yours (much idle vil and TC time from deleting and walking over). just try to fast castle as good as you can and hit him with some knights while he is still in dark age/feudal. (maybe 2 or 3 archers in feudal and hit his undefended, weak home eco) persian douche is mostly a "element of suprise"-thing, making a mess and get people to loose their sh**. besides that it actually isn't a really strong gameplan, since the douching player is paying a big ecological price for this kind of early agression.

How to defend if they come w that strategy? thanks btw
@Adam-oq4xq2 ай бұрын
1. Dont panic, keep vills prod 2. try sniping vills in tc range 3. dont fight with your tc (tc vs tc), dont repair unless youre already up and wanna make it 4. make sure you got enough wood for another tc 5. scout next tc place 6. move And remember its a loosing strat. Its only strong if you panic.
