I know everyone is different but would like a guideline so I don’t give up to soon. Thank you - I currently cannot sit more than 10 minutes without significant pain coming on. As for who you see, we would argue it is less about the title and more about are they evidence-based, promote active-care and work on patient-centered approach. Sor i had an accident where my butt and hip nerve are damange.It has been 6 month ongoing i am on bed rest and i am seeing some improvent and better from the previous month.When i press my upper buttock with finger and goes deep down i feel some sort of pain like pressing the place where it hurts.On the start of the injury i was having heaviness in my hip and after those period sometimes i feel a very light burning sensation.But it remain only for 2 or 3 days after some sort of particular movement in which it need to rotate my hip.Earlier i was having muscle twitching in some random spot of my left leg but now it has lessen and it only in my toes. I just want to know that if my symptom are improving by the ongoing treatment does it mean that it requires more time to become normal and stable.Please let me know your advice would be kindly apppericiated.Thank you❤️❤️

What are your thoughts on glute nerve pain that is triggered by back extensions or the even just by an anterior tilt of the hips?
@PerformanceSportSpine
@PerformanceSportSpine 3 жыл бұрын
The gluteal/cluneal nerves can get irritated (however the diagnostic criteria for this is poor) and potentially irritated with EXCESSIVE back extensions. As for anterior pelvic tilt, thus is “normal” as is prevalent in the population with no pain (symptoms). And due to bone shape not “tight” or “weak” muscles.

I think I have this pain. It started with me two years ago, and I went to the orthopaedic doctor who asked for an MRI image which indicated that nothing clearly affects the bone. The doctor advised to take NSIAD and a muscle relaxant. However, the pain still exists until this time and it appears particularly after certain workouts like squatting or multiple jumping. What should I do next. I continuously take NSAID such as Celebrex cap to relieve the pain, but for how long…!!! I appreciate your cooperative opinion

Thank you for the video and the info. I've suffered bilateral buttocks pain around sitting bone area, and left leg numbness on sitting posture for 2-3 years. MRI and X ray reports are showing hamstring tendinitis and L2, L3 & L5 buldging discs mildly contacting nerve roots. I'm good on standing, walking and lying posture. Also, buttocks pain comes up shortly after sitting, I can't say it's over use of glutea muscle, etc. Then... Where does this pain come from? @@PerformanceSportSpine Thanks for the quick reply. The nerve mobilizations have been part of my daily stretching routine for 2 years now. Together with the glute bridges, side laying leg raises and clamshells I have been able to get the pain to a tolerable level. But I just seem to can‘t get rid of the pain completely. The self release techniques are also making the pain much worse, together with sitting for longer periods of time. I can‘t count how many different doctors i went to. the discs are fine, also the hip joint and tissue. I know it‘s almost impossible to give a diagnosis over some internet comments but if you have any idea what else i could try, please do :) Best wishes
