Although this scene is a bit dark, but the moral of this deleted character reminds a lot of when stan lee first created Spider-Man. his publisher said people hate spiders, teenagers can only be sidekicks, superheroes don’t have personal problems. And yet Spider-Man became the most famous superhero in the world. And it really symbolized that there’s beauty and art in every animal especially scary animals like spiders and snakes and that just because you have scary eccentric power’s doesn’t mean you’re not good person and that you can’t be a hero. This could have been a potentially lovable character.

Kind of saddened we never got to see this animated, as it really sets up a conflict to how non conventional supers are treated in this world. This guy clearly had the powers and the skill to deal with criminals effectively, but has likely been rejected dozens of times for his frightening appearance. I can see why he snapped and became violent.

Kinda cool though seeing a super act more like a bad guy. All of the other bad guys in "The Incredibles" were just normal people with tech. Feels like we sorta missed out on villains with actual support powers, that's a pretty big part of superhero genre.

Feel bad for Russ. Yeah he was unstable but he just wanted to be a hero, he was just born with a more "villainous" superpower. If he had any actual support and guidance he could have been like Shinsou from MHA.

great but i think that snakes can bite themselves and not be affected by their own venom (this scene actually made me look it up lol) but it was a great scene and concept non the less.
