Most iconic line in the show. "I built it." Beautiful tribute to the geek 🐦 who was the backbone of this amazing show.

Why do people have to use an offensive term to describe someone? All this name-calling only causes disrespect to the person you speak of. Why am I bothering to invest in this? Because my life isn't that different to this movie & I've seen that name-calling can only result in violence. I'm guilty of trash-talk, but I started off as respectful & just kept to facts. I'm also dealing with a bunch of mankids who retaliate over just calling out their behaviour. Anyway, I have some "researching" to do, while I recover from injuries that may never cover. As I understand it, someone got burnt for their wicked ways. I saved this man's life & he rose again. Maybe he's forgotten what I've done for him because now he wants me to keep writing love letters meant for someone else. It's the only thing that'll save him, he said. But can I trust him? No. He has to earn my trust, just like everyone else who wants this genius to be on their team. This is my real life dealing with gang members. For now, I'm not posting anything on my Facebook platform.

This video randomly popped up in my recommendations a couple months ago. I had never heard of the show at that time but I decided to give it a try and I am so happy I did. This show has been an astounding rollercoaster of emotions. I can't believe I've missed it all this time. Thank you for this tribute, because if it didn't pop up on my recommendations that day I would probably have never seen this amazing gem of a show!

I'm in a very similar situation. I knew my enemy was not only stealing from me, but was also extorting me if I continue to show him disrespect. That money belonged to me years ago, but because he couldn't make more from me, he's trying to make me for his expenses. Everyone wants him dead. He's now a wanted criminal. He can call me a spy in a covert operation all he likes. Does he even remember who put me in this mess in the first place. He didn't teach me a single thing. It's pitiful to watch a mobster have to resort to drugging me, sending 200 people to me & only to find out that half of them at least got arrested. The other half is only out here until they get arrested. Best to not be an Indian giver yes? The embezzlement from the church can't be used against me anyway. Tickets were sold out like hotcakes because I stole the show & now they realise I'm sitting on a gold mine because this time, the authorities ensured that they never got that money he was about to steal from me. He's been doing it for up to 7 years. Me? I'm only asking him to leave me alone & not drag the victim into his mess. If he keeps bringing harm to me, he's fish food. I want my vacation without them stalking me. Since he won't leave me alone & wants to force me to marry him, I'll do what I must to get rid of him. Or we can be friends & join forces. But let me do some research first. There are only 3 people in this world I trust with my life in their hands: Me, Myself & I

A show truly ahead of its time. BTW, one thing they got 100% correct is that most will never know when a sentient AI system comes on-line and begins to "run the show". The way our society works with all the surveillance and on-line activity, the arrival of a digital deity would proceed virtually unnoticed.

I love POI so so so much. I love the characters, their stories... I'd tied it with Reese, but Harold's life and also specifically the arc his connection to the Machine takes (with heavy influence from Root) is something as beautiful, heart-wrenching, and magical as any human-human relationship can be. God bless the writers and creators for bringing this show into my life.

3:53 Harold has the moral about killing people, right or wrong. But when it hits home it's OK to kill but when given the choice to kill one man over the 100's or 1000's of lives because it will bring Samaritan online he doesn't want to do it. He did make a valid point by not wanting to allow AI's to be OK with killing but this one was up for discussion and killing one would save many lives. Again he didn't want to but fuck with his girl its coo to kill then. It's like this with people in general, happens far too often.

Artificial Intelligence( AI ) is not inherently bad or good. AI is just a computer program that runs on a Binary system of logic - which is simply based on answers of TRUE or FALSE. You can program it for more complex logical thinking, but if your programming is flawed, then so will the AI's system of solving the problem. Most programmers, whom engage in creating an AI program, look at what they want the AI to solve as a chess game, but as anyone, whom knows the game of chess intimately, there are more than one solution to winning the game. Not many AI programmers can solve any one problem with multiple solutions - much less program the AI with this level of reasoning ability. To put it in a more practical sense of understanding, programming an AI is like teaching an intellectually challenged child how to do a complex task the same way as playing connect the dots from A to Z without first teaching the child the ABC's. If the child fails, then whom is wrong - the child or the programmer?
