Me, I have a thing for Michael Emerson's voice. He enunciates everything (just like I do - it may be an autispectral thing?), making him sound almost British (a lot of people mistakenly think I have a slight British accent because of this speech trait). I just love the way he pronounces certain words, like how he draws out the 'h' before the 'w' in words like 'where' (hwayr) and 'wheel' (hweel). I also enjoy when he pronounces 'data' as (daytah) rather than (da-tah). But I am puzzled why his character keeps changing the pronunciation of 'data' and 'database', depending on the day - it's really rather odd! Other characters in POI seem to vary their pronunciation on those particular words as well, I don't know why...

I wish this could have played for 5 more seasons (as long as they were as good as or better than the first 5) because this was one of the most freaking awesome, slow-burn shows of the millennium. It combined drama, espionage, amazing action, science fiction, dystopia, ensemble drama, intense character development, a fantastic and timely story, and so many great performances, which were essential to bring these characters to life. How many shows still do all of these? Mr. Robot--which is about to end? The OA? Oh, wait, it got canceled after that massive revelation. Legion? Finito. All hour-long TV dramas strive for season-long or multi-season dramas a la the Sopranos, Breaking Bad, the Wire...but just as with the MCU, very few of those who try to follow such a mold actually manage to do so *decently,* let alone _improve_ upon it. I think the Golden Age of TV shows is winding down, just like I think the Golden Age of superhero movies and Connected Universes in cinema are winding down (though I don't doubt cinematic universes will NEVER go away and will at some point be reborn.)

I see one major flaw in that question. Fusco would never answer honestly. If he wasn’t, he’d bluff, and Reese would have accidentally killed him. If he did, he’d have said no, again to throw off Reese. How he’d have proceeded, given that outcome is unexplored, but what is certain is that Fusco, like any other human being, would have lied. Because stress doesn’t tend to inspire honesty.

This bantering of Mr. Reese and Mr. Finch kinda remind me of Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd in James Bond, Diamonds are Forever.

KZbin posted add with two fat women complaining about their diabetes medication price on a add campaign is stupid. The two women got tons of angry messages telling them to exercise, stop stuffing their faces and lose weight. And yes when someone invests in a company that makes money they get a return on their investments. Their called dividends. And nobody should be paying for someone else’s meds just so they can indulge.

Hopefully this won't stick in your brain... (that's a bad pun and who am I kidding) The one thing that freaks me out about jamming my finger in someone's eye is that I don't want to get any under my nails.

LOL - that sounds like something Root would creepily confide to her psychiatrist about! ;)

I watched all 5 seasons just hoping that I would one day hear Reese say "I'M BATMAN".

Reese giving honest advice and Finch won't have it. He must be sensetive, not wanting to jam his fingers inside someones eye and twist untill you hit the brain

4:26 Have we ever saw the place where Finch leaves, I can't recall. We saw Reeses Apartment, Shaws Apartment but not Harolds or Roots.

Am I the only one who wants to know what happened to Finch? I am really curious how he got injured. P.S.: Love these guys!!

I would tell you, but I feel like it would spoiler people who want to watch the show from the beginning... If you really want to know, there's a summary here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Finch_%28Person_of_Interest%29 Under 'Background' (second-last paragraph of that section).

Crystalline Entity - I want to know what forced him to start using the “bird” identities, rather than his original last name (which I do not remember the series ever revealing).

@@Egilhelmson It's partially alluded to in the the Lethe/Alethia two parter in season 3. Harold's father would help him identify birds, it was a super important part of their relationship. So now he just uses bird names as his surname.
