This might be obvious since it's a set of four movies and not a series. But the Persona 3 anime looks the best. The image of the light shining on Makoto on the Moonlight Bridge was amazing

jazz He’s the protagonist of Persona 3, where they use the gun to unleash the power of persona and so does his team. Their whole theme is about death: Memento Mori. “Remember you will die. Remember your death”

The gun is actually a charm they call, "Evokers". They use Evokers to call personas in a way to overcome death.
