I feel like people are giving this part of the story too much shit. Friends fight, and these guys have super powers alongside it. They are all grieving and they don’t fully know how to deal with the situation, especially since everyone is grieving in different ways. Some wanna honour the MCs legacy, some would rather find a way to rewrite history. These characters are flawed, not perfect people. Them fighting like this just makes sense to me.

This fight always ticked me off, the fact that Akihiko lost, despite him being an experienced boxer. The whole fight, what with Akihiko and Ken being the first opponents to lose against Aigis and Mets has always bothered me.

They're pretty much the best team members..so how the hell did they lose? IMO Aigis is a really weak party member, physical attacks really ain't that much compared to the magic stuff.

Schilar Because Aigis has the fucking wild card here? Also, Ken isn’t that great. He’s basically a slightly more durable Yukari that’s more situationally useful, and even then, gameplay reasons don’t need to play a part here because there was that moment when Aigis was controlled and knocked out the entire party in seemingly one strike, including the protagonist. Still, mechanical weapons of mass destruction, as Aigis still fucking went toe to toe with Death itself.

Well, yeah, that was my point..Aigis shouldn't be this powerful in The Answer. And, it is true that Ken is like Yukari -- AKA one of the best party members. Although, The Answer is more of a story extension that doesn't change the gameplay, so yeah, it isn't really the spotlight.
