Honestly Joker is just an average SMT protagonist fight, they didn’t give any respect to the protagonist fights in persona 5 royal; glad Joker is an actual challenge in persona 3 reload. This how strong a protagonist or main character from a previous entry should be for future reference. The Makoto and Yu fights in P5R were disappointedly easy and they were nerfed for those fights.

I really don’t get how that fight played out I’ma be honest? Like tf was the player doing for the first like 5 turns? He literally cast wind break twice almost in a row with yukari? He never really bothered to keep any buffs up on the party and somehow he still won relatively easily? Hard my ass! And don’t tell me the buffs would have cost too much sp/potential hp the menus said most of those moves costed in the 30s of sp and bro still finished with at least 200 sp on everyone left so no. This fight looks easy as shit.

I saw joker barely does 150 dmg on a downed aigis with weak hit and cruel attack. Not to mention that abysmal heat riser + charged megidolaon... He barely does any damage throughout the entirety of the fight yet people are going nuts. Not to mention bro is locking in on that fight UNOPTIMZED. If you does that shit against Elle-P in FES or Portable youre gonna get one shotted. @@flashback860ah whatever. It’s happened before. The twins not only diarahan each other once per fight but they also have unlimited samerecarm on eachother if you knock one out but not the other. The fight can quite literally go on forever if you don’t get both of them on the same turn.

Actually In p5r literally every persona could in theory learn every move that wasn’t exclusive in some way I had an arsene with black viper that had 99 in all stats with all the magic ability almighty boost nonsense and heat riser along with also passive skills to null bless and ice to make him weakness free. So this is pretty on brand.

Soooo here's what I would've done if I were Atlus. Seeing how my fanbase has to pay 35€ for this and how difficult the fight is, I'd give my loyal fanbase a little more cheese for beating Joker, I'd give a bit of lore for his appearance: After being defeated, Joker would state that he had just defeated Maruki, was on the Morgana-copter, and as everything faded to white, he got a good last look at Akechi, and thought to himself "If only I could save you". This wish correlated to Aigis' wish of saving Makoto, and the Abyss of Time connected them through this shared wish to save a loved one. Then Joker would start fading away, and he'd tell Aigis that he hopes her wish comes true and to meet again one day, as allies instead of adversaries. Aigis would nod, she'd tell him that she hopes his wish comes true as well, and Joker would leave. Cut to the Royal ending, where Akechi briefly appears outside the train Joker took to leave. The end.
