The trade off for that is actually being able to see the affinities of the Tartarus bosses. Definitely like it better this way.

So it seems they changed the bosses' initial weaknesses at the beginning of the battle so that they each only have one weakness to start. Back in the original P3 Arcana Empress was universally weak to all physical skills while Arcana Emperor was universally weak to all magic/elemental skills to start. I guess they thought the original properties would trivialize this fight since you can control party members now so they didn't want players doing three knock-downs+All-Out Attacks in one turn between the protag, Junpei, and Akihiko all at once which would rapidly take them down before they even get to do one Paradigm Shift. Interesting change there.

you can still do 3 all-out attacks in a cycle because of batton pass thingy

@@infinite6356no, you can’t. During Makoto’s turn, you can knock both out if you have pierce + zio, and during Akihito’s turn, you can use zio on the emperor, baton pass to Makoto and use pierce on the empress, while Jumpei can’t do anything (unless you have a mazio/zionga gem)

I just beat this fight and I was still able to do 3 knock downs + all out attacks due to shift being a thing

NGL kinda like the designs of these Arcana Bosses even in the remake version of them (Though I mostly like the designs of Justice and Chariot).

Oh my god this battle looks amazing like woah, not for nothing but i think it looks a lot cooler than OG P3 but that’s just me. I love Alejando’s voice as Akihiko though it makes him look extra cool!

costs sp but tartarus minibosses can be properly scanned now too before in og, even when fuuka scanned them, their affinities were plastered with a big "?" and the only hints you get are with third eye changing the target cursor

My characters were strong thanks to whenever I was bored I would go to the dungeons to farm exp , weapons , armors unlike persona 5 where everything was limited so you could never get stronger besides joker. Heck persona 5 doesn’t allow you to get stronger even if you want which was the game major problem it restricted us over everything

Same. I really didn’t like the new VA from the trailers, but now that I’m playing the game and I’ve gotten to this point, I think he’s done an excellent job. It’s also cool that Kurosawa is kind of his mentor now and voiced by Liam.
