Holy cow! Never thought one of these vids could reach this many people. I truly appreciate everyone that stopped by and chose to give it a gander. Makes doing these types of challenge runs all the more rewarding. Thanks for 20k! Edit: Did I say 20k, I meant 30k. Not the greatest with numbers lol. All jokes aside big thanks to everyone for giving me your time. Means more than you know.

Persona 3 being all about "Bla Bla bonds Bla Bla teammates Bla Bla friendship" meanwhile, the protagonist does all of the game solo thus not needing any partners or support to save the world It's actually canon, trust fr fr, Mitsuru having these lines proves it

@lordraiden10389 ай бұрын
Some of them are pretty easy tbh. A few early bosses can be rough since you don’t have access to better personas that can resist or nullify attacks and you have relatively low health compared to how much damage they deal. However a lot of these encounters are pattern based, and you can build a team that basically negates their entire setup.

Bro when I was playing P4, fighting the Reaper was easier to do it alone lol Reviving my teamates is just a burden at that point lol
@lordraiden10389 ай бұрын
@@TheMattVis Yeah solo Reaper is always a more chill experience. Might take longer to kill him, but you don’t have to deal with micromanaging your teammates and making sure they stay alive and don’t get cooked by weaknesses or instakill moves. Solo you can form a party that forces him to go for almighty damage since you can nullify most of his other moves with the right Persona group. Haven’t fought this one yet, but that’s how it has been for the other games at least.

I started soloing bosses from the point I picked up Siegfried With auto rebellion plus apt pupil and the crit boosts I'd be oneshotting mid game bosses on Merciless - it was just way less time consuming than bringing a whole team

Yeah it feels like some of these encounters give you a bit of leeway which is appreciated. Some of them can be honestly obnoxious though, as you’ll be seeing in the Arqa Block.

Especially if you got Yukari’s poison (med) bow, it’s absolutely destroys early game then you can upgrade that to Distress so you can just keep hitting crits or as a buffer for heals/buffs since distress lowers dmg output too
@lordraiden10389 ай бұрын
@@o1theunknown Distress is strong as hell here. Definitely getting a ton of mileage out of it so far. That attack debuff and high crit odds with physical attacks being as strong as they are here is 👌.

Not gonna lie, I’m playing the game myself on normal difficulty with a full team, and I seemed to have that same amount of difficulty. But the issue was I didn’t have many personas, so for the barbaric beast wheel, I had to rely on spamming Garu with Yukari, and I believe I had angel at the time too. You really played it smart by debuffing the bosses strategically and making sure you’re using sukukaja to buff yourself. I felt kinda stupid, because my whole strategy for the axle specifically was spam garu with Yukari and whatever with Makoto, while I tried to find its weakness and attacked with Junpei (which sucked, because the axle resisted slash, and power slash was his strongest move at the time) I didn’t even realise it was weak to electricity until in the middle of the battle 😂
@lordraiden10389 ай бұрын
Yeah one thing I like about these kind of runs is it forces me to get creative through limitations. I have to think ahead of what Personas I’ll be needing in future areas and boss encounters. Also thankful they put those Garula cards in chests right before that encounter. I learned from doing solo runs on Nocturne just how important patience is in runs like this. So long as you take your time and setup properly, you’ll generally be able to overcome most encounters with time. For me the Axle was actually the easiest of these 3 due to the fact he was all by himself. Not having to deal with jobber enemies on the side and being able to focus solely on the boss made him much more manageable. It’s funny I’ve done that before where I had no idea there was an enemy weakness or gimmick to the fight until I’ve already died like 15 times lol. There’s a certain boss in Arqa where that was the case.
