I gotta say that I absolutely love Junpei's Ultimate Theurgy. It showcases how much stronger/more competent he has become with his sword and Persona usage. The Chidori silhouette is also such a good reference, makes the line "It's not just my life anymore" hit so much harder than it already did. Junpei really do have some of the best writing and character development in the series.

It could be really cool without being too over the top either. Just repeat the cinematic from the beginning of the game where Oprhius gets summoned like he normally would, then Thanatos pops out and does something, then you get that "screen glitch" effect and Orphius is standing there again.

I really love how these attacks show how persona user fight in persona 4 the animation it was the persona's doing all the work while the users are just trainers ( which i hated ) but here you can see both user and persona working together like the lighting buff with ceaser was something i didn't even know you could do with persona's.

@@Greenlog12 True, but that was at odds with the game, as even in P4 they still had weapons and it was assumed that they just trained in the TV world. Even in the Games story they had to fight for themselves Kanji literally punched his own shadow, given the rules of the series that should be imposable. The Persona is one with you, just another part, that why the Persona’s En still effects the human using it so they can take hits they normally couldn’t. I.E. no Persona = normal human venerability. Normal human weapons don’t hurt shadows, but the persona’s energy in the individual hitting them dose

Unfortunately I had seen thumbnails and video titles hinting at Takaya’s Theurgy, but I was actually able to hold off long enough to see it myself. And I couldn’t wipe the grin off of my face. Despite the Strega fights still being sorta easy in my opinion just like in OG persona 3. They did an amazing job with Jin and ESPECIALLY Takaya’s rematch fights. I can also confidently say he has my favorite Theurgy attack in the game now.

I love how in Junpei's Hack And Slash, you can tell how his persona outshines him, literally tripping him while it goes in for the attack. But when he fuses Personas with Chidori and unlocks Blaze Of Life, he works perfectly alongside his persona. It's a REALLY cool detail that shows how much losing Chidori contributed to Junpei's growth.

I used Ken and his second theurgy was so fucking OP lmao, especially against boss fights, Full Party HP, Revive and Phys/Magi barriers for the whole party, the bosses would literally kill themselves and with his personality I just had him at low SP and I'd be able to do it like every 2-3 turns, it was busted.

Notice how by the time the Protagonist uses Armageddon, he doesn't even **use** the Evoker anymore. 1:30 Pay attention to the Protagonist's posture after Helel and Satan emerge: there is no Evoker recoil on his head, and aura comes from all over his body. It is no wonder Armageddon reduces HP and SP to 1 in this game: the Protagonist tries to pull it off without the Evoker, running on pure muscle memory of how Theurgy works.

Of course, Armageddon is still OP, but now it has a downside: it reduces your remaining HP and SP to 1. In the original, it was a fusion skill that would require you to have full SP to use it. And yes, Armageddon is still required to defeat Elizabeth.

Does anyone know why I can't get the trophy/achievement for this. I've used all the theurgies including Shinji and all first and second and have all the ones for P3MC. Do I have to do them before the ultimate persona for the characters or maybe all in a single playthrough? Ughhh
