Does brave blade and vorpal blade deal the same damage?

Technically yes, just that one of them is for a single target while the other is multi-target Just like Garu and Magaru, both deal the same damage.

Brave blade has a slightly higher damage and crit chance than vorpal blade, which makes it better if you want to maximize your damage on one enemy.

merciless difficulty is the easiest difficulty ingame atm, enemies are tougher, but you do triple damage with weakness breaks and crits, so you basically can 1 shot half of the enemies ingame. Also, he had matarukaja on him, while being overleveled to fuck. And a debilitate on jin, for good measure.
