I pre ordered the Aigis edition because i don't get enough chances of having a figure Still feel we are getting more costumes, this has fewer costumes than Golden and Royal's DLC as well the Dance games

In Australia, our retailers (EB Games) made an announcement on Twitter on a random Monday, and it sold out completely in 15 minutes. Other retailers had very limited stock also. There hasn't been a rerun of the preorder at all, so I didn't get a choice 😅 I swear we only got allocated 250 units for the whole continent.

Something to note… the only character in Royal to not get a costume is Sumi. Even Akechi got both his. And it just so happens that there’s an alternate version of the MC in Portable whose female who uses a different weapon and has completely different SL’s. Likewise… Atlus’s wording with this game is implying more DLC might come eventually. I’m more interested in finding out if this means merely FeMC or more… and considering some of the rewrites with Kenji coming out so far, that makes me hopeful for an Episode Aigis/The Answer DLC that’s actually got some better writing to back it up. Though all this could be coincidence for nothing. This is Atlus we’re talking about, the same people who released Sumi Costumes, the most broken Persona, and challenge fights including previous protags as an extra $60 on an already $60 game. Before just including that in the rereleases of the game, which were also the only way to play the game at 4k 60. They could easily just release an enhanced version with more DLC, or charge the exorbitant amount for the actual FeMC Route alone of $70 as DLC with costumes for another $5 each. Truth is, we simply don’t know… even leaks have left us in the dark.

@rezahydra That's a good point about no Sumi Representation. I can't imagine Shinjiro rocking the Leotards, but FEMC would be the best candidate for the outfit. I know ATLUS/SEGA have stated that DLC is part of their business strategy going forward. So we might get an Answer + FEMC Route in about a year's time. Could be a good spacer after Metaphor and before P6.

@@DewyHQ Exactly my thoughts. A skeleton team is currently rumored to be working on the P6 outline as noted by the very barebones inclusion of P6 stuff deep in Royal’s code, less than P5’s with 4AU funnily. Why not do something similar with DLC for P3R?

I would add that the OST on PC is probably a separate app just like on consoles. Persona 5 Strikers had a bonus OST on Steam too and that was a separate music app on Unity.

I plan to purchase the digital premium deluxe. The Personas alone makes this worthwhile in my opinion. I do wonder if the ultimate Personas will be beefed up powerhouses as they were in Persona 5 Royal. They made the early hours of the game a breeze!

Amazon has the Aigis edition in stock, and the aigis figure alone is worth the $200; I found lesser quality aigis figures/statues selling for more. So, if like me, you like to collect statues this edition is well worth the money. However the soundtrack can always be downloaded (whether itunes or pirated online if they dont release it officially digitally) and the artbooks for these games usually resell on ebay for 50-100. So the question is, do you value the statue and artbook, do you want to sell them for profit and keep the game, or do you just want the base game with no hassle. NGL Ill prob look into buying the armband from a reseller at some point and put it on display next to my phantom theives mask from p5r.

Day one DLC is frustrating. If it's available now, it should be part of the base game. Xenoblade, in my opinion, has the best stance on DLC. Adding full mini games about 5-6 months after release.

Persona 3 is one of my favorite games of all time. With that said, my desire to play P3: Reload is unmeasurable. With that said, while I do want to play day 1, I don't want to pay full price right away. Is it possoble to play it, (or any game available) on Gamepass and purchase the dlc separately to use in the game? I'm thinking of playing via gamepass and maybe get a costume pack or two, and then buy it for myself once there's a price drop, even though I'm only buying a license to play it... Thank you for covering the different editions! I'm sure someone will post the art and OST somewhere online.

Yes, you can buy DLC for gamepass games. You own the DLC, not the game. Should you lose access to the game, you naturally can't use the DLC until the game is repurchased.

Bit unfortunate they didn't include a steelbook, otherwise it would have been an easy buy for me. They had steelbooks for every edition of Persona 5 from the base to Royal, so why not include it here? On the bright side, I saw a different figure of her, which was a 1/6 scale that looks absolutely stunning. Glad I didn't pre-order this and instantly PO'd that one instead lol. It's the "Persona 4 Arena Ultimax" Aigis - 1/6 Scale Figure for those wondering.

I got the Aigis version and i think that it's pretty expensive but i'm happy for i also got the Persona 5 collector's edition. I think that the premium limited edition looks amazing. Hope that the box isn't broken because my Persona 5 collector's edition box was broken when i got it.

I was very disappointed when I discovered the Aigis edition would only be available for the PS5 and XBOX Series X. Needless to say, I bought a PS5 specifically for this game and then ordered the Aigis Edition. Sure, I could have just purchased the Aigis edition, sold the game, kept the collectibles, and then bought the digital deluxe edition for PC, rather than getting a PS5, but........ dammit, I could have done that

I really wanted the Aigis edition but nothing except Aigis herself interested me in the edition lol. I already have a super neat Aigis Figma so I decided to skip out on this. Beides, most if not all of Atlus’s CE seem to initially sell out and then get heavily replenished at steep discounts. I can still purchase SMT V CE at retail, often even below it.

Always the base version as the digital deluxe is just an artbook and ost which you can always find for free on google and the premium edition is just the dlc personas which you dont need Unless ur going for the aigis figure which is understandable

The ultimate choice is to get the Japanese Limited edition and English standard. Aigis edition is severly overpriced and comes with a pretty cheap looking statue, whilst for essentially the same price you can order the Japanese edition which is exactly the same expect replaces the statue with a much cooler replica SEES armband, and you'll still have enough left to get the English standard edition so you can still play the game in a language you understand.
