It just doesn't work for Adachi IMO. It's why in Arena he sounds more nasally and slimy. Because the original VA does. He's meant to sound like a deranged goof.

I agree, they could have done way better with the dialogue. Some people don’t seem to think so, but in my opinion, leaving so little opinions that boil down to one mindset becomes a detriment when you are supposedly trying to write a protagonist whose “personality is shaped by the player” instead the choices we get are the same idealistic kid that Adachi is exactly calling out to. It makes Adachi seem smarter than what he actually is, if the game wants us to project our personality into the player you could have had Yu make some reasonable or intimidating points, or at least have him question more things about adachi’s plan like what the commenter wrote above here. I would have like to see something like “Your chances are very low, you can’t win against all of us.” Or “This will only end embarrassingly painful for you” (As the player acknowledges this is just an adult having to be put down by a bunch of kids). Or maybe more intimidating and clever like what the people are commenting here “What happens if I shoot you here? “Do it pussy, I have repel physical’ or “You can’t, deep down, you are just a coward” yeah, yeah, I added the “pussy” just for comedic effect. My point by writing all this is that I think this encounter is a bit lame in my opinion, I wish it could have been different I suppose. I really wish WE COULD ask him about Nanako, and since the player is written more sympathetic in this exchange then maybe we could have gotten something like asking him if ge really wanted to hurt her or what he thought when she actually did get hurt, or what he thought about Dojima and the played all along. Maybe why he was so fixated in Miss Yamano, the first victim in the first place would have been nice. How the FUCK do you have such an OP persona?

One of my favorite details is that even after the reveal, they still use some of the goofier and more unassuming faces for Adachi's sprite. They have more sinister ones to use, but they decide to stick with some of the earlier ones too. It really shows how Adachi has perfected the art of hiding his true sadistic nature behind a harmless facade.

Get Adachis Jester arcana to level 6. After that you can't get it to raise even though you could technically meet him. His arcana will raise automatically (first time visiting nanako will make him go to 7)after guessing that he's the murder and all that jazz Yu will ask himself if he should visit adachi

It's all about happy faces, the right words, acting like I care about people's feelings, next thing you know your basically getting everything you want. You can't change the past Adachi neither can I. I perfectly understand why villian kill. I feel the rage they feel the pain. Why? It's simple I'm not holding the chaos inside me getting even worst. I also understand those quote good people. In our world play the nice guy for life say the right words for life, everything is mostly ours for the taking. No body knows your sins yet and I certainly don't like cops. Every day them cops watching me because of haters talking about me behind my back as if I haven't noticed.
