Ryuji, Ann, and Yusuke have the best offensive support wise. Makoto and haru have the best defense support Morgana is a crit class. And Akechi and Kasumi just hit really fucking hard And joker has the one where he basically guarantees he puts them to sleep.

Haru's Ultimate Skill might seem expensive to cast, but it's cheaper than Naoto's in Persona 4 Golden, and is a Repel for the party, rather than Naoto's Void for the party.

@@0395gabe I did that, I even Concentrated Sumire because I didn't know which tentacle reflects Physical. After I found out which ones block and repel it, I focused on the tentacles, Maruki and his persona with Masquerade when possible. The Yoshitsune boss you mentioned... he couldn't hit my party. I had auto-masuku accessory equipped on Joker. Joker, Akechi and Makoto got hit only twice. The boss' Maziodyne couldn't do anything but miss us. Shame I bought Sumire in there as the boss blocks Phys and repels Bless, but she was stable enough to use the Matarukaja accessory and heal us one by one who got hit. And when I got tired of him managing to hit me twice, I switched to Fafnir to repel it back as Sumire kept dodging- *NO* she danced her a$$ off dodging his attacks and never got hit. I swear her Agility + Sukukaja + Sukunda (on enemy) + Ali Dance is way too overpowered.

You should be able to unlock akechi and kasumi 3rd awakening at the start of the 3rd semester, you unlock akechi 3rd awakening at the very start of the 3rd semester after you refuse maruki's deal when you infiltrate for the first time, and kasumi 3rd awakening after you max her out and talk to her again like all other 3rd awakenings

It's because his Persona's trait has a chance at reducing cost of Almighty and support skills, and Rebellion Blade is an Almighty skill. 99 SP is still asking for a lot though I agree, but they probably wouldn't have given him the skill if it didn't benefit from his trait

CraigWCK For one, it can’t be blocked. Since it’s Almighty it completely bypasses Physical and Magical resistances including barriers like Makarakarn. Ingenious Spirit also lowers the cost greatly, making it about 50-60 SP only. And it has additional damage to enemies that are already on the ground after a critical, dealing a ton of damage if powered up by High Spirit or a Will Seed. Laevateinn dealt a lot of damage but it was a physical move that could be reflected by Tetrakarn or nulled by resistances. Rebellion Blade is just overall better to use, and by the time you reach this battle you should have enough Somas and SP regen items that SP is no longer a problem.

It’s also the ONLY Almighty move that deals Colossal Damage. It might not be much but it gives him a unique role perfect for the final fight against the Royal Boss. Since the tentacles have varied weaknesses, you can use Rebellion Blade to just off the ones that resist your current party members without wasting any of Joker’s turns.

Rank 10 is only for other party members to switch themselves, joker can switch anyone at a lower rank something like 2 (sorry i cant remember exactly)

What is even the point of Akechi's persona upgrade? It's only available in time for the final boss, it gives a resistance up that the final boss doesn't even use, and it's skill's bonus trait (extra damage to downed enemies) is useless on the final boss. It might as well just have been a really heavy attack and stop there.

Full team charge, concentrate, and heat riser is sort of broken, which is why neo cadenza on femc orpheous is ridiculous. Full enemy team debilitate is pretty good, but kind of uneeded. The damage ones are cool but are way out classed by the other 3rd tier persona powers. Then Joker’s Raoul, which has Phantom Show is pretty bonkers, a full enemy team high chance to sleep is really fucking good. And life wall is cool too i guess.

Completely wasted since you only get them for ONE fight and by that point joker is so fucking overpowered that it doesn't matter. Ryuji's insta kill breaks the game so you have Ng+ levels of power and wealth in your first playthrough. Even on merciless the whole game is a cakewalk. Why even bother with these "op" skills? Pointless
