For reference on all the effects... Ring of Lust (Champion's Cup) = Diarama + Tarukaja Ring of Vanity (Bleeding Dry Brush) = Absorbs any non-Almighty attack once. Ring of Gluttony (Vault Guardian) = Marakukaja + Auto-Tetrakarn + Auto-Makarakarn Ring of Wrath (Wings of Wisdom) = Amrita Shower + Auto-Sukukaja Ring of Greed (President's Insight) = Targeted Concentrate + Auto-Tarukaja Ring of Envy (Gambler's Foresight) = Masukukaja + Auto-Concentrate Ring of Pride (Tyrant's Will) = Targeted Charge + Auto-Rakukaja Ring of Sorrow (Guiding Tendril) = Downs all foes + Auto 8% HP/SP recovery

@@kuruso6736 It doesn't, Vault Guardian is just a cheaper Marakukaja. The Tetrakarn and Makarakan are passives for the wearer (hence why they're listed as "Auto" skills)

I used the Ring of Pride on Akechi. For one, combing that with his Laevatinn and Riot Gun skills make him just as good, if not more versatile, than Ryuji. And secondly, well, I just found it fitting that he’d use his dad’s special accessory.

I liked assigning the rings to the people who were affected greatly/affiliated with that corresponding palace owner. Like, Makoto got the ring of Gluttony, Haru got the Ring of Greed, and Joker got the Ring of Sorrow, being the person that indirectly helped initiate actualization, and the one Maruki was most grateful too.

Ring of Gluttony is the best one imo because of it being a cheaper Marakukaja and having auto Tetrakarn AND Makarakarn. There’s also the fact that you get pretty early into the game

@@AverageEggmonEnthusiast it always has a chance to repel any attack besides almighty. It's not really Tetrakarn or Makarakarn because it isn't guaranteed but can always activate. It's basically a magic high counter with normal high counter.

Champions Cup: i would either give it to Mona, Ann, or Haru since their both magic and support based Bleeding Dry Brush: I give it to Makoto or Haru, I can't really think of anyone else that would fit Vault Guardian: I would give it to Makoto solely, in my opinion she is the go to tank of the team since she has good damage and sustain and well I think the item fits her quite well lore wise Wings of Wrath: I'd give it to Morgana since he's my heal/support base President's Insight: I'd give it to Morgana and or Ann since they mostly act as my magic users Gambler's Foresight: I would give it to Morgana and or Ysuske since they rely on speed and the concentrate passive works I suppose Tyrant's Will: I'd give it to ryuji, Ysuske, Haru, Akechi, and Yoshizawa since they have good physical damaging skills Guiding Tendril: I'd give it to Joker or Akechi since they have the skills to make very good use of the it So what do you all think?

I make choices based on actual utility rather that on weather it fits personalities or whatever. So for example I wouldn't give Vault Guardian to Makoto since she can do that buff herself (without the passive but still), so she would benefit more from something else

I personally give the rings to the person we get as a teammate in such palace. champions cup goes to panther vault guardian goes to queen. the only times that I don't is skull gets tyrants will (but I consider him the one for that palace because he gets the life boats and tyrants will goes pretty well with him) and wings of wisdom to morgana but then again it sucks (just use salvation)

I always give the Vanity will Seed to Joker. With how often Joker switches Personas it helps I dont have to worry about weaknesses or have to waste a skill slot with a "Null" passive

Ring of Lust: Ann so that way she has a backup healing skill plus Attack Boost and can give up Diarama for a Passive Skill. Ring of Vanity: Yusuke since he is one of the weaker party members, so having no weaknesses makes him more viable in the late game. Also, he’s literally a painter. Ring of Gluttony: Makoto so she can be even more tanky and have a cheaper Marakukaja. Ring of Wrath: Ryuji since his Agilty is one of his lowest stats and he needs all the Accuracy he can get. Also, gives him a support skill in case Mona or Joker can’t cure ailments that turn. Ring of Greed: Haru for the Auto-Tarukaja for more DPS and a targeted Concentrate is very useful. Ring of Envy: Morgana for the cheaper Masukukaja and an automatic Concentrate to beef up his already high Magic Damage. Ring of Pride: Akechi for the targeted Charge and the extra defense since he’s a bit of a glass cannon. Ring of Sorrow: Ren for the HP / SP regen and the skill to just completely skip battles during an Ambush.

Strange that it doesn’t say it here but tyrants will gives a defense buff along with a targetable charge, president also gives an attack buff with concentrate. Bank vault is the same as a move but the item also gives a passive that I can’t remember right now

It usually depends Ring of Lust can be good early game for early Diarama (Tarukaja helps too) but drops off later once you get more HP Ring of Vanity is great because it sets up a drain barrier and negates the wearer’s weakness Ring of Gluttony provides a free Tetra/Makarakarn and Marakukaja (which is nice but decent otherwise) Ring of Wrath is very meh (you won’t use Amrita Shower if you have items and there are much more preferable accessories) Ring of Jealousy is...okayish because Yusuke can also provide Masukukaja (though the free Concentrate is nice) Ring of Greed/Pride are amazing since you can choose who gets Charge/Concentrate (and can help if you forgot to give Yusuke Charge via the Jazz Club) And Ring of Sorrow is mostly useful for NG+ if you still have some missing Personas, since it forcefully knocks all enemies down for negotiating (or if you’re not in the mood to do some fighting and just want to speed things up with an AOA)

It’s also worth nothing that the Marakukaja/Masukukaja provided by Ring of Gluttony/Jealousy are cheaper than their legitimate counterparts (but it’s by like 4 SP and it takes the accessory slot so) IMO it’s best to give the Rings to other people and have Crystal Skull R + Nataraja EX on Joker

@@Kirby-ms4cf I mean I ran ring of lust on my healer for most of the game because it's great until you get full healing spells and full team attack up on Ryuji. Vanity's weakness negate was great on Yusuke but I never really used the skill. Similar situation with ring of gluttony's passive on Joker. Never used any of the others and it seems once you get crystal skull ring there's no reason to use them.

Yusuke was my strongest char in both P5 and Royal. No idea wtf people have with him being weak.

@@_ANDRE. here's the thing. He has the highest strength stat but because he doesn't get access to Charge he falles off towards the end. Ryuji not only gets charge but has much more HP and Endurance so not only does he end up doing more damage he also isn't as frail as Yusuke is, especially when you factor in the physical skills take HP to use.
