I love how Sumire's one takes the form of the dashing hero swooping in to rescue the princess - except she's the one initiating all of it. She's the one who requests he come in to sweep her off her feet, and even the dip at the end is initiated by her. Joker even stumbles a bit while she pulls him into the pose! I absolutely love it.

I still wish they did an Akechi/Sumi showtime. Imagine a game show where Sumi and Akechi introduce their guest star, a random shadow, and Sumire spins a wheel to see what'll happen to the shadow. It lands on a skull and crossbones, and the wheel falls on to the shadow before Akechi smirks and shoots it in the head. Sumi says something like "Tune in next time!" while waving at the camera. Futaba says "Same Violet place, same Crow channel!"

Akechi and Sumire all outs easily became my favorites by the end of the game lol. Such an amazing game just rewatching all these. This is one of the few games that ends up deserving those multiple purchases on other platforms.

There is also variations to voice acting and a few have different continuations to the showtime. For example Ryuji and Makoto do this thing where they cause an earthquake. I have only gotten it to appear once and I have no idea how many others do different continuations.

I got this in my playthrough too and I figured out that the unique animations play in special circumstances. Specifically it seems to play on bosses that are too large to properly fit in the animation and as such a special animation from a first person view plays. Very cool that there is an entire set of animations you can miss because of this.

@@platinumwolf526 I believe that the alternate animations are usually cases of (1) targets with models too large to fit the animation, or (2) if the Showtime will actually deal a killing blow (there is usually slightly different animation and a different ending voice line if that happens).

Having everything be 60+ fps really makes the whole game more enjoyable. I still loved the game even when it was locked at 30, but man everything is so smooth when bumped up.

Man, the Joker/Violet one is so sick. And I didn't get to see it a single time since I only had the final boss left when it became avaliable. And I don't think any showtime moves can activate there. Ok, I also had a few requests at Mementos, but those were fastly done, and it didn't activate there.

Which means it’s literally impossible for me to not have Kasumi maxed. It’s whatever. I’ve encountered it on my NG+ play through. I’m just going to chalk the first instance up to bad RNG.

On ps5 you have to use motion function to aim / throw the dart. It's very easy though, on switch I turn off all motion function nonsense cause it's done so poorly.

Sumi - I think it’s like an old rifle?
