So excited someone is doing this, There was this other person on YT that I won't name here failed and I mean FAILED to cover this game even fully. It was so disappointing. At least there is someone doing these. Though. The game is too massively large.

If it's who I think it is, I don't blame him for not covering the entirety of a long game as is. Especially since Royal is phasing out Vanilla. But yeah, moments like the other person mistaking the juvenile interrogation room as the same interrogation room you go to and talk to Sae in are definite mistakes they made. Also they had the disadvantage of not being able to move the camera during cutscenes and battles. Which as you can see, I'm thankfully able to do here.

This is legitimately really interesting. Between many playthroughs and many playthroughs watched, this is a really fresh way to see the game through since there isn’t much new to see normally. Looking forward to more, great video!

27:38 I think they just took a screenshot of the entrance to the palace for this picture and resized it to look good from the ventilation shaft. And then they didn't feel a need to edit anything outside of that like Caroline being there. Also this is so cool, thanks for doing this 😄

Great video! I think the weird textures in Shibuya were due to what's called "Z-Clipping" where 2 textures occupy the same z coordinate. it happens a lot with 3d models, and since we saw them storing textures out of bounds, it is possible that was just a weird storage dump for floor textures. That's my guess as a designer.

This is so fascinating! I really hope you do more of these for this game! It's really cool to see both tricks used to make cutscenes work as well as see stuff that might indicate plans they had that fell through (like the glowing point at the end of the video). Really looking forward to more.

9:12 I think the white texture might be the phantom thieves poster that appears later in the game

That 0 in the castle could be a dev maker, a way of marking where the triggers for cutscenes and such are for testing

10:14 it's just the inside of his mouth, so that when he opens it, you can't see the back of his head texture. 17:55 looks like lights for a different day times and weathers, like night lights.

I would say that the unused velvet logo could be for the loading symbol when you chose the network fusion, since that seems like a 3D model, but i don't know if there is a reason for that not to be on the main velvet room, or the size of the models are different

@@NitsuaGamer instructions unclear I got arrested for jumping on a Best Buy employee and trying to pull his mask off after he refused to give me a camera for free
