Yeah, I have to agree it's useful, it stopped enemies on their tracks quite a few times for me. Normally you want to finish them in one turn, but SP should be preserved somewhat so you can clear a palace in a single day. Sexy Technique proves useful for that purpose, because sometimes you just have to let enemies get a turn in order to avoid spending SP on big attacks.

Have you played the game at all ? How the f yoshitzawa ranked higher than kawakami and chihaya. All yoshitzawa did was allow u to hook enemy and that's it. Meanwhile, other confidants gave u more time to spend and make your persona powerful enough to fight ng+ boss. Without both of them, you will never beat ng+ boss on merciless even if you have izanagi no okami.

I wouldn't exactly call Sun among the worst, myself. I would probably put him a few places lower than 18. His confidant skills allows me to extort ridiculous amounts of money from Shadows. We are talking about an amount of money that surpasses that of the treasure demons. I usually get like 30k or even 40k per begging shadow from the Pyramid Palace. Very useful, as expenses start to pile up when Fortune is unlocked. I agree with Ohya being the worst. None of her skills are actually that useful. Palace security is rarely a problem, if at all. And Devil personas aren't that impressive most of the time.

The time management confidants are without a doubt the most valuable, because in the middle and late game your phantom thieves can take down anything, but the confidant grind remains, and the abilities that help you save time never lose their value. Also, I 100% agree that Chihaya is the best non-phantom thief girl, and her 100K requirement isn't even that bad because when by the time I start her confidant I'm right out of Kaneshiro's bank and have the money to spare. Too bad my heart already belongs to Haru... Tbh I feel you overplaced Takemi just because I feel like her abilities aren't that really good when you have Morgana in the party just because Proud Presence is really good especially earlier in the game and that's why I don't really see use for Takemi's abilities even her SP Restoration accessories wasn't that that "GOOD" like some may claim, I think you could do well without it you just gotta be cautious about how you spent your SP in Palaces Also I think Hifumi's party switch ability is good and all but there's no way you could use it properly unless you have Mishima maxed out because back up members tend to be underleveled...BUT I'm a bit biased because it let me switch out characters in their Awakening battle which is AMAZING and got a few laughs out of it.

@@KDThreeSixty yeah but for me she's C tier, tbh I only rank her to get the arcana boost for my baby boy Nue since he's the very first Persona who learns "Curse Boost" and I truly love these skills and usually put them for Arsène but eh you could use Ryuji's insta kill and just Grind. And I do feel the same about hifumi but I still use it anyway just to have some fun and troll on Haru :v

To be fair though, SP Adhesive 3 on Morgana is pretty helpful. I rarely ever come across situations where he doesn't have enough SP to use a healing skill with SP Adhesive 3 on him even in late-game, and if it ever does get too low, that's why I absolutely stack up on master coffees and curry. It's not fool-proof by any means, but it seriously helps for long drawn-out battles. Granted, if you stack up on SP restoratives, you might not even need the adhesive at all, it kinda just depends on how you play the game. I tend to play it safe by using the adhesive because I know that at some point, I will forget to make more coffees and curry, and it will absolutely screw me over, especially on Merciless difficulty

I remember playing base p5 and thinking SP Adhesive 3 was the most op item in the game (and lowkey it was), playing royal now and having access to the camera strap just made it completely useless. Sad really.

minimum lvl 7 bc SP adhesive three is almost mandatory to A) one day palaces and B) last through late game endurance tests. and the discount is mandatory for not dying of starvation either in game from spending all your money on SP adhesives or IRL from grinding.

I don't know why everyone hypes up Mishima so much. The exp bonus he gives is +10% from rank 7 onwards. That absolutely pales in comparison to accessories, that can give up to +50% and jose, who can give +100%. His only useful skill is his first one, which is already more than enough to not have any wildly underleveled teammates. And his last one is useful only in edge cases.

Cause its just another bonus, its easy to achive because basically you need to just go to memento. And if you wanna do it correctly after all you want to have everyone maxed. So as he is giving you exp for nothing you want to get him. And you want to max every bonus exp if you farm it. So he is just neeeded

@@Hazard598 I think getting 5 stamps in mementos is easier than spending 6 timeslots with mishima and completing like 4 mementos requests from him. In both cases, you get the same results, but the stamps can keep stacking. Also one more thing, switching to merciless increases exp 1.2x, which is also a lot better than mishima, while not making the game any harder. And before you say that I can just do all of those, yes and I do them. I just simply think Mishima is completely overhyped for the miniscule bonus he gives.

Taro is actually D tier cause one the twins do what he does but easier, two Momentos exists where now you can increase your money and level 3 times as fast and because you can rush enemies to insta kill negotiations aren’t required Sexy Technique rarely works mainly because most enemies from the 2nd to 5th palaces are beasts and not male humanoid characters male creatures are also affected but it mainly works when certain requirements are fulfilled. 1. Is that the enemy can’t attack more than one member especially Ann herself, and two the attack needs to be a physical attack and not special skill.

To be fair, Igor's confidant is just you-know-who telling you, that you're close to the truth and then you get a few more persona slots and on rank 10 there's a plot twist and an explanation why Igor sounded so different from his Persona 3 and 4 appearances. For me personally Sae at least had more personality than Igor and actually was a part of the plot and Morgana's whole story arc throughout the game actually was just really good, so it's Igor > Sae > Morgana for me.

Yoshida is underrated here. Fundraising alone being such an early perk to get and synergising so well with the special treatment perk from the twins. You're also the first person I've seen who LIKES Ohya

Attis weak? Are you sure? I'm not an experienced SMT player, but in terms of general rpg design, having all party buffs set up in a single turn looks like a lot, and the only other way to do it comes in the final arc. Sure, you can pass his trait onto something else, but you still need to get it. Having Thermopylae at will saves a lot of buff turns. Idk, maybe experienced players can clean even bosses in 3 turns with auto-kaja skills, but it looks pretty good to me.

(Also Futaba and ren are like my favourite duo so -anyway at least is not Ken Amada or something worse so...- regardless of how people see this I find them cute. If you don't agree I understand. Goro akechi's confidant is only useful cause of jazz and the affinity chance never really triggered for me, it was makoto ability's shadow factorization always triggered. For that reason, i didn't even bother akechi confidant after rank 4 cause it wasted of time and didn't like him. If you used him on final boss on 3rd sem, you will also know what i mean.

Sleuthing Instinct/Mastery only works on one enemy and doesn't activate during boss fights... On top of that, once the compendium is complete, you'll know all of their affinities so it's useless And you have to max out his confidant as the persona you unlock from doing so is Metatron who is required for a fusion chain that results in Ren's ultimate persona Satanael in NG+ Long story short, Satanael is the only reason to bother maxing out the Justice confidant and the Jazz Club is the only reason to bother with him at all

I'm sorry what SP item invalidate Takemi? Its free SP per turn. I guess its because I didn't explore the DLC pack enough for busted items I dunno but SP saves has always been a staple of Persona. And you effectively drive costs down by simply having SP3s equipped. Are there strong SP items? Yes. You can easily make it through the game without the Adhesive but that doesn't invalidate that how insanely good those adhesives are. That said she's decent in B tier I do think Shinya still belongs in A tier even if at the very bottom. Down Shot is that good and I guess people hate Bullet Bail but negging enemy health as an ambush is stupid good. Putting Iwai as high as you did is just. Gun Customization is not useful. You can neg any encounter without Iwai and I'm sure there's some circumstances where its awesome but honestly I just had next to no interest which is a shame No lie rating the party member confidant line who isn't Oracle is a waste of time. None of their abilities are that good with many of them being same tactics skills like distrupting enemy actions, follow up attacks, Harisen, and Protect. I think you're smoking though. Kawakami should remain in S. Just...by the logic of how Chihaya works Kawakami is right behind it and Kawakami because you can start it early the only thing that hurts it is waiting for the the final higher tier Mementos mission to finish her line. Even so. And I get it with Ryuji. I think its good...once you've done anything. You shouldn't even need to grind even on the hardest mode in this game. Atlus and SMT games in general always gives me a general rule. Play normally then in the finale go crazy. Once I was in the 2nd semester I could go nuts with Insta-kill getting persona and material I need to get my alarms for better rewards and EXP . It just simply made getting stuff trival. In vanilla for Plat during my 2nd play through I got Instakill early because end games items help and you keep your Stats. Instakill just invaldiated the rest of the game and I had to turn it off or just not have Ryuji in the party because I ALWAYS approach Shadows via ambush and I can think of what reason I would ever do the opposite. I think Ryuji is the one that is a strong A while Kawakami is right next to Chihaya who I too admit is the best. Her fortunes are super early and they help boost what you need when you need it.
