Yeah, I was gritting my teeth just listening to Alice. She's sadistic! I think Alice both dislikes and admires Ann for being both beautiful and popular. Uggh, it still gives me the shivers that the real Alice was aware of her powers as the King of the Shibuya Jail. Alice's Shadow did have a crush on Joker and wanted him to be her plaything.

Also she wasn't aware that in school Ann wasn't popular. She was different, theres a difference. Ann only had one friend, Shiho, and it was mentioned and implied that the other girls didn't like her cause of her looks (thinking she was too sexy and assuming she was a flirt) and boys thought she was probably easy. We dont always see another's struggles, and if we just assume from far away, we choose to remain blind to it.

It uses the same logic as Maruki/Kasumin't, but Maruki is an application and you need to do a ponzi scheme to get it working. It just affects basically everyone including Alice herself.

You can't be affected unless you insert something like Wonderland or Prince of Nightmare, and if you don't do that, they are just a bunch of crazies, Alice or the people following her included. That's kinda like the Sumire case half a year ago, because in that case, only Sumire is affected, and only she thinks that she is Kasumi: Other people think she's crazy depressed and that's it.

The way Emma's ability to control people seems to work, (as indicated by the first time we saw Jail) is that, when someone friends the jail's king their shadows appear in jail and then they have their wishes stolen, allowing for the King to control them completely. A Persona user, however, no longer has a shadow, as the shadow has turned into a persona. As such it's impossible for them to have their wishes stolen. At least by the methods they know of.
