I was kind of surprised to see that Mario + rabbids went for a completely different gameplay style in the sequel, and although I definitely liked it, I could see myself enjoying this version of persona 5 quite a bit because of the similarities it has!

Its not that great. Just watch youtube cutscenes. Don’t waste your money or wait for a sale. Story and gameplay are mediocre and jokes aren’t funny. I paid 80 dollars will force myself to finish. But don’t make the same mistake.

Feel like I'm in the minority here, but while I would like to see Persona 6, I would be equally excited by further adventures with the P5 crew. I loved this cast, so I'm happy to roll with them for as long as Atlus continues to make solid romps with them.

The irony of this is that Reload is likely taking so much more time of the core Persona team than Tactica is. Anyone with a brain can see Tactica is being handled by a smaller studio or team hence the art style change.

However Persona 3 Reload is clearly made with the main line game's engine so yes 3's remake is taking up alot more of the developer's time than Tactica. Now to be clear I fully intend to get 3 reload along with Tactica I'm just pointing out the double standard.

@@Cloud-dt6xb firstly I never once said that 3s remake isn't taking up more time than tactica, I was simply correcting the assumption that that's the reason for the art style change. As for your point about the engine, nowadays it's becoming more and more common place to be able to transfer models from one engine to the other, maybe a decade ago you would have had a point, now not so much.

Man this new Persona 5 Rabbids crossover lookin' fire so far. I love games with cute artstyles. We so far have a traditional turn-based rpg, action rpg, rhythm game, party fighter with Joker as a DLC and now am SRPG. The fact that this one game is going strong from several years ago shows how popular it still is. I'll be getting this day 1.

Unlike Persona 5 (which engine was running on PS3), P3 Reload is running on Unreal Engine 4. The same engine they were using for SMTV and that game was already struggling to run on Switch and employed a lot of tricks just to run somewhat comfortably (doesn't even hit 30 FPS). And SMTV is Switch exclusive so it's not like they had a choice. So while they could potentially make it run on Switch as well, they just decided not spend time and money on downgrading the current version just so it could run on Switch. And even if you bring up some other series that runs well on Switch, it doesn't mean devs at Atlus know how devs of that series did it.

I like SRPG's and I like the Persona series. I see this as a win! However I was let down a bit by Strikers (I like Warriors games in general but the stop/start element of the battles killed the flow for me), so it'll be a gamble....

Well, its all about taste, but strikers was by far the best Musou Warrior game by far, great writting, good story, and great gameplay implementation.

@@unclefred3128 The combat for me felt a lot better than Hyrule and FE Warriors, the weakness break ability on bosses forced you to change demons and combo to manage your SP and actually win the fights. And I understand some people dont like story and depth on fighting games, but for me Hyrule warriors and P5 strikers are the 2 best Musou games to date, coz they balance a good hack and slash game with good story and writing.

@@ricardogianella Have you played any of the Dynasty or Samurai musou games? I found AOC and OG Hyrule Warriors were more faithful to the musou series than Strikers. That being said, the musou series lost it's way properly after SW2 and DW5, peons could pick you apart in those games if you weren't careful. Nowadays they just stand there so you can fill your meter lol.

Depends on how you play, this game looks small and doesn’t prioritize graphics so it should run fine on switch ( and it can be played anywhere). Personally I would just save for p3 reload as it’s coming out on PlayStation and wait to see reviews before deciding

I just got this half off (still gotta get p3 reload lol) I gotta say I’m very impressed with how they implemented the persona 5 mechanics into a tactics game like this and if they do do anymore p5 projects (not sure if they are or not I’d rather them work on p6 but I wouldn’t say no to more persona 5 lol) please have erina in it lol. Toshiro (im still early so please don’t tell me if there are other new characters ) toshiro is annoying to me though. Not saying in general cause I don’t want to speak for everyone but some of what he says feels silly and doesn’t work for me when referencing past games. I guess the only negative I we’ll I don’t know if it is or just a nitpick but for those who haven’t played p5 or Royal don’t really get caught up at all. I’m just thinking if someone wanted to jump into this cause they are into tactics at least a small recap would be cool for them. Yea I know the note system but so far for me the notes only pop up after receiving previous events. All said and done can’t wait to see where the person series is taken next.

P3RE is basically P3 remade to appeal to P5 fans, most of who haven't played P3 and wouldn't go back to play P3P or P3FES because they're outdated. ATLUS may as well just change its name to the Persona company because that's all that they pump out these days. Persona 5 Tactica kept me mildly interested for about 15 minutes before going right back to the end of my stupidly large queue, right behind Persona 5 Strikers. Look even at Metaphor Re:Fantazio... all the advertisements for it say: "By the makers of Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5." 🙄 I used to be a hardcore ATLUS fanboy before the endless Persona loop began. Now, instead, I'm utterly bored of the mind-numbing, boring P5 characters (at least the characters in P3 are great, and in P4 pretty good) and have long moved on to different franchises. When ATLUS was actually making good games with original content, I could overlook their shitty practices such as day one DLC, but now I've lost almost all interest. 🤷‍♀ Abandoning ATLUS fans in lieu of Persona 5 fans is going to bite them in the ass.

Its a fun game but 9/10 is a gross exaggeration. It's a really short game and kind of a cash grab. 7/10 at best

So... no mention of the day 1 dlc being $20 seems like a diservice to anyone buying this game. Atlas held stuff in game, just to milk the fanbase, and for that, I am no longer supporting this game. Fuck companies that do day 1 dlc.
