I think this is a non-canon alternate Persona 5 for China that outside main Persona lore, since I feel that certain thing about the game kinda contradict the lore.

Joker learned during all the story to not live under anyone's control so that wouldn't make sense for him to go under P5R final boss' control. Btw spoiler for the last smt i guess. Isn't the final boss the main character from smt 3 ? So it's not about atlus balls at all
