Cyborg KiWi Yeah, i used to think school was bad... but it was not until end of year 11 (im almost at the end of year 12 atm) when i started to despise it, no creativity at all, you would think that psychology would be one of the most open subjects because how our brains work is extremely complex, although it is the most narrow/structured subjects you could ever learn, it consitsts of learning a bunch of people's opinions which are considered scientific only because they wrote it in a special way, it is extremely contradictory to itself and what you're basically doing is writing definitions "word.for.word" or how to write a research report properly (practically english class!!), you don't even learn how to help people with their problems (practical skills) which is the whole point of a psychologist in the first place! Well this is under Australian education system anyway... not sure how other countries deal with the stuff but i suspect its generally the same

I feel like P3, P4 and now to some extent P5 fans are so against each other (when they aren't being civil, which for the most I've seen, they've been much more civil these days), is because the games are so massively different. The Hashino team made sure each game was vastly different from the last, which I love and adore because it makes each game feel like a new experience. I personally prefer Persona 3 far more than 4 and 5, and I can say with confidence that I can't get into 4 and 5 nearly as much (though they're still fantastic games and deserve the praise) because of how different it is from P3 which happened to end up my favourite even after constantly replaying P5 (for context, I played P5 first, crucify me if you'd like, I was introduced to the series in 2018 and now it's one of my favourites). I know this comment is 6 years old, but since P5R is coming out in America in mere months and the height of the Persona 5 fanbase is bigger than ever, this topic becomes more and more relevant. I'm going to predict that a lot of P5 fans will be alienated because it's the one casual audiences are attracted to more, and the fans of older games will be more harsher towards the "normie Phantom Fags" as I've heard them be called by particularly toxic P3 fans. At the end of the day though, P1 and 2 fans will sit idly by because their biggest concern is that Atlus won't give their part of the series any love aside from vague, minor references in other games. The remake for psp barely got made. Problem is most of the fanbase didnt play the original games. Which makes sense, since the ps1 version is awful but the PSP one is good. Still a large majority of the persona and megaten fanbase didnt play 1 and 2. Theres almost no way they could put the time and effort into those games without taking a hit to the company unless they know people will buy it

I like how it shows both sides of the story, the beginning of the opening being maki / SBEEC focused but when the tone of the song changes we see it branch off into images of a school freezing over and seeing chairs in the background instead of SBEEC related stuff, as the opening is now referencing the SQQ part of the story. I also like how maki is literally snatched away by a hand before a continuous square loop (like when entering the TV world) is played followed with snow particles within this. Showing both possible routes in the game.

The calendar and social link system won't work in P1/P2 story setting. Especially Snow Queen route would'nt work in it at all, since all of it cannonicaly takes plays during 1 day (half of the day, even, since at the end it's heavily implied that Nanjo want to go save Masao at Police Station, thus starting the SEBEC route).

I don't know if it'd be that big of a finical success. Most fans and Atlus themselves don't acknowledge the existence of the first two(or three), so that's one less thing going for it. Since these games extremely old, and they aren't like what people are familiar with, they'd need major overhauls. It'd require way more effort, for instance a P3 remake
