Actually, Nyarly, Nyx, Chronos and Izanami wanted progress. Death is progress, destruction is progess, happiness is progress even if it means turning the world into Shadows. The only guy talking about stagnation is Yaldabaoth, and Enlil is a cross of Yaldabaoth/Sagiri/Izanami and Nyx. Of course it's there.
