I had the same problem. In case you still need the help, here's my advice for comboing into the down light punch. First, you need to input it way later than you would for most other moves. Instead of canceling your previous move early into down light punch, you need to wait for the previous move to end and then input down light punch as soon Hinako finishes recovering. To get used to the timing, I would recommend practicing this sequence (written in numpad notation): Close D, 6A, 6C, 2A, 3A. If you input 2A too early, only 3A will come out. If you input 2A too late, the combo drops.
