Hey, great ranking, again. :) I agree with your last places. I don’t like Ágústa as Elsa, I wish Valgerður was the voice of Elsa. :/ I don’t like Edda as Thumbelina either, she sounds bored to me, I think Vigdís would be more appropriate. She even said in an interview she disliked the movie, I understand why. Thank you for not liking Þórunn as Aurora, she sounds out of breath. I think they would’ve casted a real opera singer :) The rest, I agree and I think my fav is your second place :)

Thanks :) For Elsa yes Valgerður could have been great on Elsa but I would have preferred prefer a new voice on Elsa and not again Valgerður, Selma or another voice that have already lots of roles. But I agree for Vigdis as Thumbelina but her I wish she was the voice of Giselle too. Yes I know Edda disliked the movie and I understand why (unlike Laura Vlasblom where it was her favorite character to dub as I could see^^), me too I don't understand how I could like this movie as a child^^ I agree about Aurora :)

Well, I can understand people could dislike “Thumbelina”, but I don’t dislike it, even though it’s not my fav; it’s cute, innocent :3 But what would be your “reasons” to dislike this movie (if you were able to dislike it)?

I don't really like it because 1st I compare it to other Don Bluth movies. He began so well especially in the 80's with An American Tail or The Land Before Time (I always cry when I see this movie^^) which are so strong, emotional and amazing. And it's also far from Anastasia that is so so amazing (my favorite cartoon). And it seems that when TLM was released in 1989 and that then BatB, Aladdin or TLK became very successfull too, Don Bluth made Thumbelina to plagiarize the Disney style and they failed for me, it's like a "bad plagiary" of Disney movies of the 90's . Because the character of Thumbelina is too silly and annoying (two words that qualify this movie also I would say) for me and doesn't have the charisma of Disney princesses of this time (and others too), the bird annoys me too. I would say my only "positive points" of this movie are the toads and the beetle who are so funny (especially their songs that's why I include them in my Non/Disney songs ranking) and some other songs who are not that bad but it's still far from great Disney songs or the ones from Anastasia. I like also Sun, Soon, the reprise of Let me be your wings and Marry the mole is my guilty pleasure but the others, just NO ! So I'm glad that after, Don Bluth made Anastasia that was really amazing :) Or you can watch the critic of Nostalgia Chick to know my opinion about this movie, I have almost the same haha^^

I love the Icelandic dubbs and the language itself!!! ❤❤❤❤❤ I agree with all of your choices, except Porunn, I like her Aurora very much!! I am glad that Soley ended up high enough, not my ultimate favorite Odette but she is quite good. Edda is a pure gold as Esmeralda, I like all of her roles some of them more, some others less. R.I.P I totally agree with your comment about Margrét, she is a perfect Miriam for me! Selma is one of the few overused voices that I will never get bored! Valgerdur, Valgerdur, how much I love her, especially her Pocahontas is perfecto!! But, the queen of all Icelandic dubbs is the magnificent Svala!! My favorite Icelandic voice and my favorite Anastasia as well! Lovely ranking!! ❤❤❤❤

Interesting ranking. Val is my favorite. I don't really like Pocahontas but Mulan has a special place in my heart but the best role of hers is always Ariel.

Love it completely agree with your top 2 I think Selma is my numb 3. I would put Vigdis Hrefna Palsdottir and agla Briet Einarsdottir lower and Halla Vilhjalmsdottir higher I love her ;) Great video and ranking

I love Selma Björnsdóttir! I honestly think her best roles was Giselle and Belle (because those characters fit her sweet and soft voice to me) and her Meg was my least favorite role from her Because her voice didn't fit that character in my opinion! But I respect your opinion! Awesome list! ❤ I have to agree with you on Steinunn as Nala! I love her as the evil queen and definitely Cruella De vil but Nala was not the role for her!

Love it! Agree with many of your choices, for exemple Belle's Selma, Agla Bríet (thanks for not saying she's too young, I love her so much) and Valgerdur who deserves her place! I love her in all her roles. And of course Svala is wonderful. Vigdis is also magical and I agree with what you've said about Edda. My big disagreement is about Porunn, I absolutely adore her Aurora!

Thanks :) Glad you agree about Edda or Agla Briet who aren't everyone's taste in general ;) WOW I didn't expect you would love Þórunn as Aurora since I thaught you didn't like the Aurora voices that give her too much character and a strong personnality instead of the voices who sound more delicate and dreamy :O

Stru Bel I don't think her voice gives a lot of personnality to Aurora. I think I love her because her voice is very special and quite haunting so it's perfect for the princess who received the gift of a beautiful voice! And I don't find her harsh at all surprisingly... I love how she "monte dans les aigus" sorry I don't know how to say it in English ^^ And I think her attitude is really dreamy, so yeah quite a surprise as I don't find myself interested in Aurora's voices that much but she's one of the few who stand out to me !

Okay I understand better, but for my part I still wish she could have sung as Aurora just like as Cinderella where she sounds quite close to Vigdis IMO^^

Stru Bel Yeah I know and I understand that. I know people prefer her Cinderella and I really see why, but I love her equally in both roles.
