Hi. New subbie, here. Love this post. About the "functional" - I believe that it refers to minimal deco, rather than actually functional. I had to go that route last year during a period of overwhelm and grief. It really helped me to drill down to basics and get back on track. Now, after lots of journaling and reflection, I'm ready for some economical, but pretty Fall deco. I also love the FCC size and KelAnne Designs. TFS!

The term functional planner came about during the no white space planner decorating era. It may still be out there, but I haven't seen it in a long time.

What do you use for fertilizer for your plants, your vegetables and fruits? And to keep bugs off?

@@lwiener67 hello! I use Neptune fish fertilizer, and Berrytone. I have a ton of pollinators all throughout the garden to help keep bugs away. I didn’t even get any hornworms this year on my tomatoes. Some Japanese beetles, which I used a trap bag which is hung about 50 feet from my garden. Aside from that, no issues! 💕. But I also have all raised beds, so no ground worms. Thanks for watching!!
