Hi Prerak - thanks for the vid. Trying to write my PS and am struggling. Can you give me your opinion on having a "theme" or "angle" in your PS? Do you think this is necessary? I have heard multiple ppl say that you need some kind of theme or angle, but, at the moment it feels disingenuous to say I want to dedicate myself to caring for X patients b/c really I am not precisely sure what kind of doc I want to be right now.

ok. I think I'll take out the paragraph about my dad being saved by a doc. even tho it was an event that affected my decision to go into med, it is risky bc it's too cliche. besides I have plenty else to write about.
