Also 100% on the Navy trench coat example. Several years ago I found the perfect leather jacket from Rag & Bone. I looked for it for a few years, had lots of difficulty because of shoulder fit. Finally found one in men's and I am never tempted to purchase another black leather jacket because mine is perfect.

Thank you for speaking the truth about fashion influencers. People seem to for get they aren't professinals and are getting paid to push trends and only using their style and taste.

It took me two years to figure out some rules I needed for clothing I purchased. One of them was that I need to have clothes that cover my shoulders. I have big shoulders and gain weight in my arms so this is very hard, it's much easier to by sleeveless tops. I needed dresses that cover my shoulders for church and work and political social events, and I needed washable shirts with sleeves to absorb sweat when I wear blazers to work to reduce my dry cleaning bill. Once I switched how I purchased it made my wardrobe much easier to use.
