I wish we could have seen the home in all of its splendor before the quake! So amazing how she turned her grief into a love of architecture and, ultimately, a decades long art project. My favorite story from her is that she denied two US Presidents who requested to stay there during their visit to the area. Such a badass woman. ❤ Great video as always 🥰🥰

Hi went to the tour again last Sunday. And I think I caught a picture of a spirit in her dress. I showed to my family and friends and they said it is a dress of a spirit. I took it from those 4 window that's in the room that was destroyed from the earthquake

This was a great video! I loved my visit to the Mystery House! I didn't see any ghosts though. But it was cool to learn about the logical reasons for the weird dead ends and skylights in random places. It's a beautiful house, and definitely worth a visit to see a place so steeped in American legend.

The earth quake is why there is stairways that goes to the ceiling and why that door to no where is there now. She decided not to repair it and just left the house as was and wanted it sealed up completely instead of repairing and rebuilding things. I just watched a whole documentary on it.
