How is that possible? INFJ/INFP share none of the same cognitive functions: INFJ: Ni > Fe > Ti > Se INFP: Fi > Ne > Si > Te INFJ is neither the "literal opposite" of ESTP. They actually have all the same functions just in the opposite order: INFJ: Ni > Fe > Ti > Se ESTP: Se > Ti > Fe > Ni If you're indeed an INFJ, you actually have more in common with ESTP than INFP if we're strictly looking at which functions are actually present. However, INFP and INFJ have a similar order of similar functions in their stack (hence both being introverted, intuitive feelers). They express their own unique types of intuition and feeling (being similiar but different at the same time).

I am an ENTP and I have a sense of respect for her. Never really wanted to be her because obviously we are so much alike and i dont wish our personalities on anyone it is a lot. 😂 but I understand her. People will judge us and classify us as strange, but they dont really understand why our mouths always run and we are always giving so much information nobody asked for. It helps us understand our emotions when we talk about them. Because we aren’t very emotional personalities and emotions confuse us.

What a fun video! I've never watched her before, I'm fascinated by the freedom she exhibits. It's one of my favorite vlog styles, to live in the moment and react to the moment. Especially in my vluns, that is almost 50 percent of what I'm doing. Inbetween struggling to breathe and trying to remember what it was that I wanted to talk about. My latest vlog was really mostly in the moment. It's cool to hear about how it excites you and unlocks things for you.

I’m an INFJ and have always been fascinated watching Emma because of how she processes the world and herself so differently from me. I’m extremely jealous of her ability to verbally narrate her thoughts and what she observes in her immediate surroundings very naturally and automatically. It’s what makes her so entertaining. I might be wrong but I get the feeling that Emma is slightly Alexithymic in that she doesn’t know how she feels about or why she does things so she tries to think analytically in a practical and logical way about why she does certain things. It makes sense as her Fi function is by far her weakest.

Just found your channel and I love it! Could you make a video on extroverted intuition (Ne)? Being an ENFP, others tend to recognize us for Fi rather than Ne, and a lot of explanations of Ne are simply "abstract!!" or "can't hold a day job." I personally value my Ne as the biggest part of my personality even though I don't fully understand it. I'd love to watch an analysis on Ne in a practical sense. Keep up the great videos!!

Hey Eric, these videos are fascinating, thank you. The concept of personality types is new to me. Even though I had heard people mention them here and there, I didn't bother learning about them before. Your Kelly Stamps video was recommended someday, and now I watched this one because you have such an admirable sense for observation and analysis while being clear in your communication, it seems obvious that you know a lot more about the topic but still choose to prioritize making it easy to understand for your audience which is very generous of you. I don't watch any of the protagonists you have chosen so far but will probably watch all your videos because of how you analyze. Anyway, I finally took this test yesterday (probably have years ago once, but forgot the outcome), and it gave me the 'Turbulent Commander' (forgot the letters/abbreviations)! Probably an extremely shitty person to be around but the descriptions were frighteningly accurate!! Haha. Maybe one day you can make videos about specific types and find a variety of examples for them. In a way, I feel it helps people to look past the most obvious and recognize either commonalities or differentiating qualities in one another that can be expressed in a variety of ways; the most seemingly different persons can be so much alike (and vice versa which is liberating). Anyway, I can't determine how I will position myself toward the concept of personality types yet and look forward to following your journey. Take care!

Not always the case and def have to pay attention to broader consistent trends (big difference if they say “I feel” once in a sentence vs like if they keep saying it and clarifying that over and over again constantly) but I have noticed the same thing and especially with the FP personality types…they tend to say “I feel” a LOT lol

anyone else a intj/ intp? i dont talk much, express my feelings, talk about what i know, keep things to myself, prepares myself for every scenario, stubborn, determined, doesn't enjoy false hope, rarely likes philosophy, stern, self controlled, make sure i know everything about someone before i call someone my friend, cautious with everyone i am associated with, open minded, go into many different perspectives, can tell the exact feelings and emotions and personality someone has by looking at them, analyzes what certain people would do in a situation by their personality to make sure they would help me when i need the help, questions my purpose, sees that the world is just full of souls in a human body (and the human body determines who they are with what they do with their life), and i think i am really good at acknowledging the fact that not everybody will like me for who i am. i had to actually make this comment because of how unsure of who i was for a second. edit: the things i list there are also the reasons why i have no friends. maybe a few "hellos" from time to time, but i don't have any friends, literally none, which is good because i like it that way. ever wonder how people have so many friendships and relationships that don't disturb or distract you? like, i dont know if thats how people paint their lives to be or if it's really how they are. if it's the last option, then, damn.

So I'm an ESTP and I can use Fe and Se more outward compared to Ti when I just use it inwards, like I use Fe outwardly when I like end up people pleasing people, and I can sometimes hate it, but then I justify with reasons. Like for example, when I always have to wash dishes even though there are times I just don't want to because I'd rather do something else like maybe chill or something idk but I usually just rationalize and say something like, "Well, I mean, these are like life skills that I should know, I mean even though my parents could do them, I still need to know them regardless" idk if this makes sense and idek if what I'm saying is accurate to me at this point

I’ve just discovered your channel today and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been very interested in personality types lately and have forced all of my co workers to take the Myers Briggs personality test. 😂 I find it so fascinating learning about peoples personality traits and it helps me to see why people are the way they are. I see more Fi in her body language, especially her mouth is always in a kind of "disgust" pose. she is very expressive with her face, Ti is less expressive. And the intensity in her voice also speak Fi for me. Sorry I know you don't know about vultology but i just think you shouldn't type people just in stereotypes.
