39:16 ... I experienced this as an INFP journalist. Fe users saw my investigations as disruption of harmony whereas exposure of truth was my sole motivator.

I think there is one thing. Introverted feeling isnt just about the self and its own feelings. It can be profoundly intertwined with others and ethical questions without thinking of himself. Its just means that the focus on finding this element of "truth" or multiple truths. Is done upon reflection with oneself and possible interactions with others. So they might have no problem calling someone out even if it disturbs the harmony, because they find it more important to be ethical and genuine over preserving a harmony that sometimes might not be genuine. Like you said, conflict constructs intimacy, if I feel hurt with a friend. We speak, and we learn more about ourselves and one another. I think introverted feelers tend to value what is right over what "feels good".

In other words... Introverted feelers can use the process to improve the world around them. Simply through reflection and improving ones values And extroverted feelers can also express it in a extroverted way but in a way that focuses on the individual(himself or someone else)

'What is right' is still a subjective statement because anything that is introverted is subjective since it's still based on the user's constructed meaning. Though Ni (introverted intuition) is quite scary in how many subjective experiences they are able to perceived/envision and then present to the world in a way that aligned with the information they received. Those with Fe (extroverted feeling) are wired to focus on social cohesion. Not a bad thing when it comes to motivating and energizing others, but an issue when it comes to setting boundaries or ignoring one's personal desires for the sake of the group. Fi (introverted feeling) are better at understanding and crafting their own values, but can give off an aloof feeling or at least not seen to be showing much emotions since it is an introverted function. Also, makes it difficult to perceived others' emotions, or even understand them. Te (extroverted thinking) has no problem pointing out mistakes or errors since it is not wired for social grace like Fe, but wired for external order/control and efficiency. Rational, but not always logical. Easier seen if any of the functions mentioned above are one of the top two in the function stack.

@@readinggeorgeeliot1489 Yep, i'd say that is a accurate definition of the functions!

ENFJ raised in relationship with God vs. religion... having had 2 plus experiences of Heaven... hate religious indoctrination. As my “ENFJ” self sought knowledge (raised in Jungian psychology loving home). Believe religious ideology is Messed Up! Messes people up! Not a big fan of getting “taught”, by others about who God is/how He sees us... I know, how “He” God has Anima/Animas characteristics and Loves His (All) creation. Desires Mercy over judgement... there is the Yin/Yang/Balance in ultimate creation. Love your content! Helps me understand so much where my “issues” lay!

Introverted feeling at minute. 24:20. ( I'm leaving this so I can listen to it again later. Grazie)

Oh man, yes. I constantly question what I am feeling and whether it has been ‘coded’ from conditioning or its truly mine...

After hearing this podcast, it actually is easier to understand than the stuff I read online.

So do you know any INFJs that are so Keen to conflict resolution? They are apparently supposed to be about harmony with their extroverted feeling but I have yet to meet one who practices any form of conflict resolution, they would just assume slam the door on you!

Thank you for this! I catch myself in Fe but I think it’s because I’ve been conditioned that way... internally I feel like I am more concerned in Fi when I stop to analyze my thoughts. I think that’s what makes it really hard to determine what I and others are best at or what the strongest default is.

10:07 - Wow. I'm the person who to lightens up the mood...but only with a group of people where I'm comfortable with.

Yes. Extroverted feeling should come on conflict resolution. Not conflict avoidance!!! That is the big problem when i feel alienated as an FI getting along with FE...
@stacyremington9820 Жыл бұрын
I’m thinking that with so many nuances to type and what creates the whole picture of who a person is, there are definitely exceptions, but is it accurate to say that it’s less likely for someone who is Fi dominant to be conflict avoidant?

FJs and TPs all have Fe. TJs and NPs all have Fi. I'm an ESTP with Fe Tertiary.

Comment on Extraverted Feeling vs Introverted feeling: I'm confused. I think it wasn't feeling was used at a situation where an idea flashed into a thought but there was no visible evidence to prove the "trueness" of the cause of the emergence of goose bumps. Suddenly, analysing the thoughts, it knows that the danger is real. It acknowledges it's helplessness through the alarm bells ringing in its ears but without thinking, automatically raises its hands (🖕) and project it's distaste to the perceived invisible audience. In following its instincts, days later after consuming lots of material, it stumbles upon evidence of the "reality of the event as it happened" and how the subject reacted and also how people reacted to the ensuing situation. It felt rage but the audience acted nervous and relief. I hope this makes sense.
