Lemmy was that and the guy at the start, at the birth of the music business era that really zeroed in on talent being a profession and in that,talent being profitable. He simply was the right age in the right times doing what he loved as a human, and as a man with his talent and love of Rock N Roll!. Lemmy is the lightning itself in a bottle. The perfect storm. He never bought into the glam or pagentry it brought (and consumed one of his favorites...Elvis Presley), the being a STAR! He simply lived and was smart enough to make money at his job...and didnt worry about what "sold", he just produced and let everyone else figure out the schematics. Think about the money he didnt make! How many times he sat back and said nah fuck it i dont care that itll make ME 2 million and YOU 4 million, i see where this will go and what itll turn into and nope i wont sell out cause i cant be bought.Almost by default and in the most natural way, he became and made himself a big STAR for being REAL. Its like there was no way it couldnt have happened for him, given the right age in the right times. If he just popped up yesterday outta nowhere....he'd be bigger than anyone out today, and gone tomm, cuz weve seen this type of crazy rock star before......but no we wouldnt have cuz Lemmy wouldnt have been around. Talk about orginator, the 1st and def last of his kind! Damn straight! 🤘🤘 love ya Lem!!!

Most of the boys from other IFFI who patched over after the confederates split way back. Diesel and Bearing were great mates Diesel my ex. Sadly passed on 19th May 1987. Was much much younger than him. We all had loads of fun at all the parties with The Sinners, Cheaters, Highway Men.The Uhlans, The Jokers. Before the consorting laws came into affect which failed miserably, ha ha ha ha a right to freedom. Partied with some of the best blokes you could ever meet, staunch to the bone. Lemmy was born in 1945, Keith Richards in 1943, Lemmy died in 2015 at the age of 70, Keith will be 80 in 4 months and is still going strong. I doubt that Keith has held back in any way compared to Lemmy in terms of alcohol and drug use. 😄 And unlike Lemmy, Keith Richards is still alive and well, so I don't really know who is/was a paperboy when it comes down to it.

2:10 Could the secret have been that Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister endured so long under his myriad of typically unhealthy habits because he didn't experience a lot of stress in his life, that he was a very content and happy person? Excess cortisol can do a lot of damage to the human body over time. I wonder if that was the overlooked factor. Cortisol makes it harder to burn fat and it damages muscles over time, it even physically hurts in those short-term moments of extreme stress. Zen monks who master breathing techniques and learn how to naturally calm themselves live for many, many years.....I'm just a layman thinking out loud, but I think there's some truth to Lemmy's case. He was a happy, content person without a lot of stress in his life. It probably helped immensely despite the cigs and booze and speed.

@nicholasjames20977 жыл бұрын
Holy swhz*t ... Jesus also had negative messages like it or not. So many have been portrayed as Jesus. Jim Morrison, John Lennon another, Chris Cornell, George Harrison another too, until he slipped in the Hare Rama Hare Krishna, even Charlie Manson, the prophet people worshiped. Portrayed as the Anti Christ others looked at him as Jesus. If Lemmy was alive I think or am sure he'd beg to differ. No so called man that has preached the word have ever been dirt dirt poor. The floods that happened this year. Joel Osteen wouldn't open his doors for shelter. If I wasn't so tired I could name a few more rock stars that were classed at what you are proclaiming. He was a peace filled man with a sweet gentle heart. Thank you kindly I disagree. No insult intended as you don't care what others say am sure you won't be offend. Saoirse

I love Lemmy. Big fan. But, the reality is if you live your life like this you will end up on welfare or homeless. Lemmy clearly reminds of one of my uncles and a cousin of mine. I think this is what fascinates me about him. They were both a step above being bums and homeless. Whatever, I guess it's cool but always remember Lemmy is/was a rock star. Not a regular person.
