Can you show us the same technique for two points perspective in bigger scale, like grading a group of buildings with imaginary box technique

This is really helpful, I'm self learning rn because my school expect us to know this kind of stuff cause they assume we all know this fundamentals. It's kind of frustrating that they expect us to do things that we are not taught of. Wishing everything goes back to normal this kind of virtual set up is killing me.

same with my school :((, they just give us books and expect us to become professionals at the end of the week.

This helps me a lot - just one thing that is puzzling me - how does he establish the 2 meter mark for the couch? Is that eyeballing it? Is there anyway you can be accurate about establishing the length of an object going back in perspective?

Hey great video. I appriciate the effort. My suggestionis that you make a video on composition. Like which work and which don't and why. Also some examples would be great. All the way form Tanzania.

If the box that you've started with is 3*3 m, why isn't it a square but rectangle?

+marie s this was just a quick demonstration by dr. Ruzaimi that he did in 10 minutes when he came by to our office so it's ment to show the technique plus it's still a perspective and the point is to roughly estimate and not be so precise
@abdulgekko90786 жыл бұрын
hi .. as per title - a scaled 1-point sketched (not drawing) perspective, therefore, it is still a sketch but with some form of scale .. to +marie

+PhantomWowfull this was just a quick demonstration by dr. Ruzaimi that he did in 10 minutes when he came by to our office so it's ment to show the technique plus it's still a perspective and the point is to roughly estimate and not be too precise as he mentioned

Of course, but architecture is a job where scale and size of things are really important, spaces are Design in the purpose of being lived by people, I meant by that its really important to demonstrate size as it is, especially in drawings ! Our job is to pratice our mind to be used to scale so that we use that skill to Design space and volumes.
@PhantomWowfull7 жыл бұрын
Because it was actually the goal of that video : the scale, I thought it would be important to tell precise scale, at least closer as possible from what is drawn. Sorry if I seemed too sarcastic before.
@Themodmin7 жыл бұрын
+PhantomWowfull i understand your point and i appreciate you pointing it out however this video is to demonstrate the technique of using scale in sketching and sketches and especially perspectives are to communicate and not to be used as a technical drawings its the feel and keeping in mind that scale is something to be considered to make it easier for beginners to draw a perspective 😊
